The gross inadequacy of houses in our urban centres is a serious source for concern to this administration. Within the last 4 years, the government has evolved policies and programmes aimed at addressing this problem. To this end 1000 housing estates as well as State Low Cost Houses were sold to Civil Servants on owner occupier basis with 30% subsidy. - Sponsoring of Bauchi State indigenes to study abroad including Aeronautics Engineering and Piloting in the US, Medicine in Egypt and other specialized course in Brazil and Malaysia.
- Increment of scholarship allowances for both foreign and local students.

The Bauchi state Gov. Isa Yuguda proceed to build/construct N8billion international airport despite the state has two airports, making the state to have two national airport and an international airport, also boosting the tourism of Nigeria.
