'Healing as a bread of Christians'

In the book of Matthew 15 vs 21-28, the Caananite woman approached Jesus to heal her daughter. You can observe that Jesus ignored her totally. You may ask why?

Every great country has privileges and privileges its citizens can enjoy. For instance if you are a citizen of the United Kingdom and becomes a mother out of wedlock, you are entitled to care and welfare for yourself and the baby. But you cannot be a Nigerian and expect these benefits unless you have obtained the British citizenship.

If you read verse 24, Jesus answered and said "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Isreal." By this Jesus made it clear to her that she may not partake of the inheritance of the Jews. He even took it further in verse 26: "It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs."

Thank God for the blood shed upon the cross of Calvary. This has made we the Gentiles partakers of the divine inheritance. So as a Christian do you know who you are?

Please compare the convenant by Law given to Moses in Exodus 34:27-28 with the convenant of the Promise through Abraham in Genesis 17: 4-9; Galatians 3:14.

In 1 Peter 2:9-10 we are described as a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a peculiar people. All these became attainable by the precious blood shed by our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary.

After Jesus gave up the ghost on the cross, a significant event happened: the veil of the temple was torn. This signified the end to demarcation between Isreal and we, the Gentiles.

Therefore begin to speak to your life today; ask God to make you a partaker of His inheritance through the forgiveness of your sins.
