if you're using quick root, just install the minimal ADB and place a shortcut on the desktop. run quickroot and hope it works. I used a manual method which involved pushing of some frevo files through ADB to downgrade my mytouch4g ( I know. different phone) and then used visionary APk and terminal emulator to root my phone in less than 45 seconds ( that easy).
just make sure ur ADB is installed correctly by running some commands to test it first. ADB is really helpful if you're bricked set. just tun quockroot. it should do the trick for you sensation guys

yes dt was d v i used 4 my own, jst pt it in d root of ur sdcard dn boot bootloader it wil ask u dat do u want to update den pres volume up to update afta d update remove ur sdcard and delete d firmware u downloaded, afta ur fone restart den u cn instal ur rom. Plz note if u didnt remove ur sdcard afta d update ur fone wil nt boot up it wil hang at htc logo.

Guys help, after flashing 4.2.2jb cyanogenMod into my phone, my ram reduced frome 768 to 534mb. How do i recover my ram to it's normal state? Cos i just noticed it.

if u are coming from 2.3 flash firmware but if u already have 4:0 then leave but i recommend flashing that firmware whether 4:0 or not...... Then u are good to .. Just download any Rom of your choice.. But for me viper sense 5.0 is the best ... Download and flash from recover no need of pc again

nope 4extrecovery is an 'img' file not apk, what is apk is 4ext updater or 4ext control , those apk are installed on rooted phones that support 4ext recovery and u can download the 4extrecovery.img from those apps and there is an option to flash it from the apk too but the img file itself can be flash from bootloader if u got it .

check the pages for the link and download it copy to ur memory card(no folder ) boot to bootloader and it will read the zip file follow the instruction to flash
