It seems Churches have now turned to a competing business venture, where different church denomination compete for Space, members, TV and radio placements etc. Gone are the days when its was all about the Gospel.

This is sickening and many are located in close proximity to residential buildings, their midnight shouts and singing won't let people sleep, church proliferation, their siting and level of noise should be properly regulated.

I just see it as an insult to our God who want us to be one and united in Him.

Why can't all the 6 churches merge together and serve their God, afterall, we all serve the same God.
I believe it is greed in its real form here, everyone want to be addressed as the GO daddy, mummy,etc.
May God help us in this our salvation path o.

Imagine what the neighborhood will be like if about 3/4 of those churches have their night vigils on the same day.

if truly these churches are worshiping one God, y can't dey merge in2 one sinx dey ar in one building alredy? Can u imagin Paul, Peter, John, James and d rest apostles holding separate meetings in one building? Dats unheard of. I d reasoning behind dis is dat dey all have various bank accounts under various CEOs so it will really be hard to merge, dis really poses a problem, as to weda its all about worshipping God, or maintaining a fat bank account.

To many churches these days and we have corruption hitting the high heavens, HYPOCRISY.

That doesn't mean they are competing.
They just happen to be sharing same building. Probably cos that's the available space they could find.
I just wonder how they don't distract/disturb each other.

Every time I am held in the traffic at this junction, I wonder how the members cope with hearing themselves. And the churches are open every evening!
