To some parents, the answer to this question is yes and to some other parents, the answer is no. Repeating a class helps a student to improve and performs better before proceeding to the next class but when a student has managed to get to SS2 class, the student is almost through, therefore, some parents would not want the child who has gotten to this level to repeat. In most cases, the student will not even want to repeat. In this case, you can withdraw your child from school and register him or her for external SSCE exam in a private school and then put your child in a good coaching center to resume studies.
