chidindufrank: Is just like this one below. Seriously Seun should stop the act of covering evils perpetrated by yorubas,it doesn't tell good about him as the peoples servant. Seun should cultivate high moral standard and be fair to every race, religion, clan and tribe. https://www.nairaland.com/1505077/pregnant-mother-two-7-others

How does it concern seun? You think a web entrepreneur would want to ruin his business by being tribalistic to such trivial stuff as to stigmatise certain tribes and "putting them on front page" so to speak?

am amazed at how some of you people think. are you a traditional ruler or smthing? thats a very terrible sense of reasoning you got there pal

kay4all: The way cases are being dealth with in this country will never provide any reasonable solution to corrupt practice. Imagine! Someone stole 24m and she's being placed on a bail of 500k. Is this not even an encouragement to stealing and looothing? I tire for niaja.........
dude.....she is still a suspect, so why shouldn't she be granted bail?

That lady was born and raised in Enugu. She only came to Ondo to work. Her training and orientation is basically Igbo. So like michael Adebolajo, she is technically not from Ipinle Omoluabi..

Am just wondering how all these happened without detection, I blame the entire branch/bank, no verification? no call-over?

It's still possible the lady is innocent. If she is, I wonder what coughing out 500k will do to her. Untill people start living flambouyant lives just to please others or "belong", the rot in Nigeriawill not wane.

eluquenson:

Don't you know we have many old generation banks? how can you just think its Union Bank.

Contrary to popular reports
the bank is actually FIRST BANK OF NIGERIA.

and sure, it is a very old bank with rickety old patrons and matrons at every levels, all being promoted based solely on man-knows-man, with their peachtree certificates obtained under oshodi bridge
or what other justification to you have as to why the account numbers were gladly disclosed to the media?

Knowing that any young mind with an active internet access and an operational account with a newer generation bank like GTB can easily "google" the account owner's details via NIBSS in the guise of adding a new beneficiary.

*googling his name*

hmmm. there you have it, google result says the account 3031456895 belongs to one man from the south east, with those unique set of name, you are gonna have that kind of money in ur account, no doubt! + Judging by his 3rd name, you can easily tell he was born on a day set aside for Romance

I seriously think it is hightime CBN mandated our old generation bank to stop hiding under the phrase "old generation" every time they perform below expectation. Imagine the volume of both rich and poor customers who on hitting the home page, seeing UNION only to start facilitating cash transfers out of fear of girls of today.
