Don't expect any response from these ACN/APC confusionists.
Did you notice the way justhelp has been running around like some head-less chicken since I asked him to simply point out where the cost of the tablets Aregberascal bought from his son in his long SOURCEless story
They are used to spinning LIES, DISTORTIONS and outrageous promises to the gullible Area Boys, Agberos, Almajiris etc that form the bulk of their supporters who ask no questions but swallow it all- hook, line & sinker.
Hence they do not focus on the BASICS of quality education for all children in their states and LGAs.
That way their gullible supporters can remain in their pitiable educated illiterate status.
Sad!
Very sad!!
Very sad indeed!!!

I still remember when he brought desktops to my school. The whole school had to wait for him to arrive at 4pm to commission them. I finished from that same school and the only time I saw those desktops being used was when I met the son of one staff and his friends doing some stuff with the desktops in our ICT/staff room.

Am servin in osun...no opon imo here...just distributed to less than 100 students in d whole state..
Tolexander: i would have gone into entering a pair of trousers of argument with you but your handle detered me!

But just to clear the controversy and bring you into the gathering of knowledge.

'opon imo is a tab given to the secondary pupils in osun state. It has all the textbooks needed by this pupils installed on it so as to save them from carrying the textbooks around and also the government on purchase textbooks annually to distribute freely to them.

'opon imo' has no internet connection to download games, porn, music, etc which may distract the attention of these pupils like the laptop Obi is giving out.

Peter Obi knws how to get attention of the public. I was there yesterdy wen he called for d meeting of d prinicpals nd there senior prefects but at d end of d day it ended campaigning for Obiano dat will succed him. Dou at d very end dey shared 5k for d school principals which I benefited frm it. APGA be ur Brodas keeper!!!!!!
Re: Obi Distribute Laptops & Printers To Anambra Schools by Nobody: 8:38pm On Nov 13, 2013
What a cheap lie by peter obi, terrible slowpoke, he is emphatically a foolish man for politicking with every thing. Nairalanders disregard this information, yesterday school principals were called for meeting, they were mandated to return already distributed 2 million naira check for refurbishing of laboratories and libraries, even till 7pm when the meeting ended no laptop was distributed. Peter obi is looting Anambra at the moment, he is seriously diverting Anambra's treasury.

Tolexander: please try to make sense!

He is making real sense.

There is so much fraud in that Opon Imo project. The first one I will mention is the claim that he is saving 8.6 billion that would have been used to buy 56 textbooks for 17 subjects for about 150, 000 students SSCE. This is so fraudulent

1. SSCE students preparing for WAEC or NECO do not do 17 subjects each. They choose about 8 or 10 subjects to do.

2. Each subject normally has one textbook. You dont need more than one text for example, for chemistry. Even if you were to have 2 textbooks per subject, a student will still have less than 20 textbooks.

3. Some subjects like English have very cheap textbooks.

So there is no way Osun state would have required 8.6 billion to buy textbooks for students preparing for SSCE, yearly. This is where he set the stage up for fraud.

Also, it is actually incredible to insinuate that he will have to buy the same books yearly for the next set of students. Why in the world will Osun state have to do that? Are they insinuating the student will destroy them after use? These students dont need to take the textbooks home since they wont be needing it after they graduate that year. At least, most of them wont be needing it. So the calculation is completely fraudulent. If the government where to provide text books, the textbooks would be placed in a library so the students can access it and when they graduate, he next set of students can then use it.

Th whole project was setup as a scam from day one.

bro, try not being mono-directional in your thinking and logic!

1. SSCE students preparing for WAEC or NECO do not do 17 subjects each. They choose about 8 or 10 subjects to do.
how about having more than 1 textbooks for a subject?

2. Each subject normally has one textbook. You dont need more than one text for example, for chemistry. Even if you were to have 2 textbooks per subject, a student will still have less than 20 textbooks.
says who?
When i was in senior secondary school, i had more than 25 textbooks for a class. You can't just come here to impose your logic and reasoning and make it universal.

3. Some subjects like English have very cheap textbooks.
what about other subjects that have am expensive textbooks?
Moreover, why would you talk as if you knew the total number of english textbooks in the the nigerian market with their prices?

So there is no way Osun state would have required 8.6 billion to buy textbooks for students preparing for SSCE, yearly. This is where he set the stage up for fraud.
your reasoning and logic lack substantial fact to back it up man.
Try another thing! Moreover, in order not to spend that amount on textbooks, hence the reason for settling for opon imo.

Also, it is actually incredible to insinuate that he will have to buy the same books yearly for the next set of students. Why in the world will Osun state have to do that? Are they insinuating the student will destroy them after use? These students dont need to take the textbooks home since they wont be needing it after they graduate that year. you need to understand there is a difference between 1. running a free education by giving out free textbooks to students and 2. stocking the library.
Free textbooks entails giving the pupils the textbooks to use at their convenient time at school and at home.
Stocking the library only gives the pupil the access to textbooks during the school hours only, except they are boarders and 90% of the osun state's schools aren't.

Let's be reasonable. How will many textbooks packed in the bag everyday to school by under 18 pupils and from school last?
You wanna claim you were a neat guy in your secondary school days?
For how long will that continue for the textbooks to become spoilt?

Peter Obi doesn't borrow to get things done, the most fiscally responsible Governor in Nigeria.
Quoting Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, Peter Obi's educational policies are second to none, no wonder Anambra tops the unity school entrance examination all all major National Examinations. Okwute please continue to deliver democracy dividends till the final day. God bless Ndi Igbo, God bless Nigeria

I sincerely don't understand why yorubas keep joining matters with igbos in matters concerning Igbo states........If they feel obaino is the right man for them, then let them choose him.........also igbos should not try to justify their choice with another persons own.....if opon imo cost 8.6bn for 3,600 it shouldnt be the reason you accept your governor spending same amount for 3,000(figyratively)....In the end you will be the one to suffer not people outside your state..............lastly I don't think apc is a yoruba party: in the sense that if they mess up they have the tag yoruba party......The only thing that has made apc/acn relevant in sw is not because it was founded to be a yoruba party, It is simply because the Governors performed well.......and thats probably what I like most about yoruba people, all their leaders know they are walking on eggshells......the tinubu most people feel is the messiah in the sw.....can become as useless as bb tomorrow-all he has to do is mess up- ask obj

Controversy: One of the reason i love Peter Obi. More action less noise
Compare 22,500 laptops plus 1400 printer with Osun state 3600 Opom Imo fraud
•22,500 laptops plus 1400 printer = 2.65billion
•3,600 Opom Imo ipad = 8.6billion
Aregbesola is a fraudster but his gullible supporters will never admit it
OP, you should be flogged and paraded like a thief because of this statement.
See how u brought ur bigotism into this thread coupling it even with falsehood.
The actual cost of the 'Opon Imo' project is N200m not N8.6bn as u stated.
The bitter fact is that these products aren't even comparable.
The 8.6bn is even the savings accrued as a result of that project.
Why do u love lies na?
You are even a lady...I pity ur shameful life.
