The election should be canceled. Pick a new date, communicate it to everyone, rework the voters' register and conduct a clean, transparent, free, fair and credible election where losers will have no choice but congratulate the winner. Anything short of that is a charade. |

Went over to inec twitter account and i was quite impressed wit the way inec has been sending info and reminder on verification of voters name. My take is, if the defeated situation reporters of those parties had utilise and educated their supporters adequately, the problem of voters name being absent wont have occurred. "If you can prove that INEC is responsible for omitting your name, provide proof of the omission and the issue will be resolved"- Jegaand they even provided a sms platform for voters to verify their details. You can also check your voter status by sending an SMS with your State, Last name, Voter Identification Number (VIN) toi think i will blame those parties that have failed to inform their supporters during their campaigning on what to do. @inecnigeria 2 Likes |

Why would it be conclusive when most of the candidates are desperate to win at all cost?? And also with the electoral commission held by the jugular, the people's wish won't be respected. |

Supplementary my butt!! The whole thing was a complete sham and should be cancelled. INEC under Jega is a total disgrace. Used to think Abel Goubadia was a failure, then it got worse under Iwu, and now this. Why is everything positive in this country always in a regressive trend Dem curse us |

AtlanticBreeze:sure but what was the campaign team doing? Shouting apc/pdp/lb or nothing? For months the inec info has been up and the team should have known and made their supporters aware of how to verify their voters info. Oh the campaign team were too retar.ded to reason to follow inec on their twitter handle to be aware of any latest from the body so that they could be upto speed with development from the org? I still maintain that the CAMPAIGN TEAM had done a very poor work towards their supporters. 1 Like |

In 2003, Chris Uba a.k.a. Eselu Uga helped Dr. Chris Ngige to rig the election with the aid of Tony Nwoye, while he was a student of Unnec. Tony Nwoye rigged the 2003 governorship election for Ngige with the aid of some bests from Unn, Unizik, Esut, Delsu & Ebsu under the master supervision of Eselu. The rigging ushered Ngige into the government house, and he governed Anambra for 33months illegally. it took the supreme court to kick him out of the government house which made him the first democratic sitting governor to be removed by the court of law in Nigeria. Chris Uba (Eselu) and his elder brother, senator Andy Uba used Tony Nwoye to fight Ngige when he failed to hand over the state purse to them as he vowed under okija shrine. Tony Nwoye and his gangs kidnapped Ngige then while he was still a sitting governor, demolished and burnt the state properties like Anambra State Broadcasting Service ABS then . Today, Ngige, Tony Nwoye & his formal master senator Andy Uba are in desperate need of the governorship post of Anambra state, but unfortunately karma is at work. The election has come and gone, Ngige has been crying on ait since morning accusing INEC of working with APGA to disenfranchisedsome voters in his stronghold, while Tony Nwoye keeps accusing prof. Jega of incompetence and intolerance, for not reading nor replying his mails. Tony Nwoye won the god-father, his ex- master senator Andy Uba at the supreme court few weeks to the election and picked the PDP flag, and contested. It happened that Tony Nwoye & his family members couldn't find their names in the voters register in his hometown Nsugbe ward1 yesterday which disenfranchisedthe family of Nwoye. Now, the election is over, senator Andy Uba is the chairman senate committee on INEC, which means that neither Tony Nwoye nor Ngige can approach INEC without writing to the house of assembly (senate) first. Reputation is precious, but character is priceless. He who fetched ant-infested firewood... 2 Likes |

A big congrats in advance to obiano and APGA bc we on ground know that the supplementary election will be a walkover for them as a result of the bandwagon effect already taking place in the various communities. Anambra people have made a resounding statement that we are thru wit the locust years of brigandage and thuggery and really appreciate the efforts of governor obi in bringing sanity and development to our dear state. Our most sincere hope is that Obiano will continue in his stride.I read various uninformed and atimes outrightly childish comments here and marvel @ how blind illiteracy, lack of authentic info and ethnic bias has rendered many of our youths today. THE REALITY ON GROUND IS THAT APGA WILL WIN GUBER ELECTIONS IN ANAMBRA STATE OF TODAY EVEN IF IT IS REPEATED A THOUSAND TIMES |
