I'm really happy for those guys that were shortlisted. Making first class honour in any department or institution in Nigeria is not a small something. I pray that in the next edition, i will be one of those shortlisted. I salute Mr President for this initiative of sponsoring intelligent youths. This is a good idea by the FG except that over 70% of those guys won't return to Nigeria on completion of their studies. I hope they've been adequately made to sign an agreement, otherwise, they'll be completely lost to their host countries. I say this because I wear a similar shoe. Nigeria isn't a desirable country to transfer acquired postgraduate knowledge, especially in Science and Technology. The infrastructures aren't just available at the moment.
