Dear Orikinla,

Peace!

Violence has never done anybody any permanent good. It is instructive to note that most of those that taught PDP election rigging in 1999, 2003 were lamenting being sidelined in 2007. God has his ways of making humans pay for wrongs committed. As Christians, we do nothing rashly but rather lay our grievances before the creator of all flesh. Yes we can strike out in anger, but doing so hurts us more as well as inflict more hardship on those we love while those we intend to hurt go scot-free.

How has all the kidnapping , bombings, raids affected OBJ in the past two years? Has he missed a meal? foreign trip? business deal, salary, or relative? Has it stopped him from occupying Aso Rock or from building a competitor in his home town? Has he had to queue for fuel in past eight years or has he been forced to sleep in darkness with mosquitoes due to unavailability of electricity? My brother, let us not make life more difficult for our loved ones. It took more than forty years but one day God said Exodus 3:7-10 and a new nation was born. The day draws closer.
