PDP’s Secret Weapon Against APC In 2015 – Secondus

The All Progressives Congress, APC, cannot beat the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the 2015 general elections, Deputy National Chairman of the party, Chief Uche Secondus has boasted.
Secondus, who made this known at an enlarged meeting of the Akwa Ibom State caucus of the PDP in Uyo, the state capital on Thursday, said the opposition lacked the national spread to defeat the ruling party.
He also commended the PDP stakeholders in the state for holding onto the party from inception in 1999, adding that the PDP at the national level was very proud of Akwa Ibom State and its governor, Godswill Akpabio, for what he is doing to transform the state.
Secondus remarked: “I am overwhelmed and I believe that Akwa Ibom is setting the pace for the entire country to follow. The 2014 campaign is going to revolve around ward chairmen. The entire Nigeria should know that PDP is well rooted in all the wards of the country. We have over 9,000 wards across the country with PDP offices.
“I want the opposition party to challenge me if they have offices in these wards across this nation. PDP will win the election that is coming in 2015 because we are rooted in these wards. This is one secret the opposition does not know. They believe in blackmail and propaganda. It can’t work”, Secondus said.

Oh ma God! Where is this nigeria going? I was thinking he is going to be mentionig things the PDP has done that will not allow the other PARTIES to win the upcoming election.. But to my surprise he sed they are well rooted across the country.... Why can't yhu say wat yhu v done to use it as a point, "the other parties can win the election cos we'v done this and that" instead u saying u r rooted... Well u haven't done any meaningful thing since all this while... U just sitting on corruption!

So, with this pdp believed those offices they rooted in all the wards will do the voting.

Let the power hunters pdp's leader have a re-think that offices rooted all over the federation can not and will never do the voting. But, there work will speak to the mind of the masses.

(APC) Arewa political congress aka islamic party of nigeria

The event at National Mosque in Abuja on the 15th day of November, 2013 explains it all. Governors Okorocha, Wamako and Aliyu as well as former Governor Orji Kalu joined other Muslim faithful in a special Jumat service to welcome 18 Muslim converts mainly of Igbo extraction majority of whom came from Okorocha's Imo State.
The converts who were all male within the ages of 25 and 35 years said they accepted Islam because it is a “truthful, peaceful and charitable faith.”
Ibrahim Ukah, formerly Uchenna Ukah and a younger brother of a fellow convert, Tobechi Ukah, now Abdullahi Ukah from Imo State were the spoke persons of the new converts.
According to Leadership online, the commencement of Friday prayers at the mosque on that fateful day was unusually late as the converts were given priority when Islamic rites were administered on them for 30 minutes.
The converts were led by the NTA Owerri host of “Islamic calling in Igbo language” Alhaji Muhammad Kabir Orjiegbulam.
Governor Okorocha who spoke in Hausa described the occassion as an important turning point in the growth of Islam in the eastern heart land and later led other Governors to raise a total sum of N13m for the converts. Gov Aliyu and Wammako contributed N5m each, Okorocha N2m and Orji Kalu N1m. Other dignitaries present donated various sums but it was not clear whether the target sum of N18m meant for the 18 converts was realised.

If the mind of the masses is the key, why are the APC and her supporters gleefully celebrating the defection of a few PDP into their fold. grin.

Heck, they even went to Atiku and OBJ to help them steer their course to victory. embarassed

And you as well, think the deflection of the few individual who are not satisfied with there share from the nationwealth(national cake) will also do the voting.

While don't you borrowed a leave from the immediate past general election. And you will see how nigerian did not voted for parties but individual.

The party that feed a candidate that meet the heart of the people will win.

Note this!

This is where APC as a party is missing it all.

Because their base is failing every second to respect the diversity of our great and beloved fatherland.

One country!

Different culture and idealogy!

Different religious belief!

Different people!

Any party that recognise these. Wil have the way.

2 things will determine whether Jonathan's re-election is a cake walk

1. If Jonathan finally becomes the President who gives Nigeria stable electricity

2. If APC zone power to North West (Hausa Fulani) as they are planning to do!

If the above 2 happens it will be a landslide for Jonathan

I have always belonged to the school of thought that the key is winning the hearts of the masses and not some greedy defecting politicians the APC is adopting.

The APC has been in the news mostly for their jubilant and exciting mood with respect to the defecting PDP members, where were you then to address their shallow approach to the 2015 polls .. . . .
