What was the occasion for her BBC Interview? I have just discovered that it was on the fact that Nigeria is the strongest member of MINT(Mexico, Indonesia, Nigeria and Turkey), which are going to maintain the strongest growth in the next decade. And all the @OP could talk about is Ms Adichie's hair. I despair for Nigeria and Nigerians. Congrats Jonathan for making Nigeria the growth capital of the globe. I love it!! This woman amazes me everyday!!  Natural hair is gaining popularity among black women today because a few women decided to do it and be ridiculed for it. ItsModella1: ok good for you. Like I said, I won't knock on people who wear bantu knots either. 10 yrs ago, even the sight of 4b natural hair in any form would be ridiculed (whether it is bantu knot out or twist out or whatever). we have come a long way and we need to continue going forward. |
