I had a very suprising expirience dis evenin wif ma fwnds itel android fone,he entered d wrong pattern on his fone sevral tymz nd got locked out of d fone,he dint panic cos he believes he has a fone genius lyk me for a fwnd.
when i got d fone i tried all sort of hard reset i knew,holding d power botton nd d volume+ simultaneously buh natin happend,buh holding d volume- displays sum kind of boot loader but no reset factory there.... i got so confused nd disapointed,i also saw disapointment on ma fwnds face.
please if anyone can help,it'll b appriciated.... i still wana crack dis tin plz,@least retain ma name as d fone genius wey dem tink say i be.... yu knw na

First you will switch of your Android device. After switching of your android device, press your up volume button and Press It down. Now press the power button and hold it too along with the volume up button. It will start a secret terminal interface. Then press to use home button for scroll up and down. Then you will get to the choose option DELETE ALL USER DATA. Select the option and wait Your device will take some time but after it will restart and you will find out your android device has been unlocked. Google is dia for u Bro..wake up

The unlocking procedure posted by hooged works big time. I just used it now to unlock my phone that has frustrated me for weeks. The secret is when pressing the power button don't press along with the volume Up. Press power button first and then volume Up. An icon will appear on ya screen. Now you press volume Up again and u will see the various options. Of course u choose clear data/ reset factory then press power button to validate. Each option u take make sure u validate with the power button. It works!!!

Gosh...av just fallen a victim of this same itel stuff...each time i rememba i cnt apply d usual factory reset method, i feel like flinging d scrab against d wall nd den i wonder wat made me obtain an itel fone in d first place, i guess there's no solution 2 dis minor problem yet but if there's any pls save a friend

itel is spectrum cpu it cant be unlock by vol up and vol down stuff you need software such as gpg dragon or volcano to do this take the phone to software engineer

on an Itel phone where this doesnt work, just use the fastboot or ADB method

Yep guys good day, the best way to reset an itel andriod u need to press n hold the power button and the vold me down button till u see the andriod kit on the screen, then press the volume up bu tt on again. This will give u options from which u wI'll select wipe data/factory reset. You select by pressing the volume down button and validate with the up vold me button, it will show u another long list with lots of NO and 1 item that says wipe user data. Select this option and wait for the data to be wiped, then reboit and it's fine
