Re: Etisalat - Nigeria's 5th GSM Operator by blackweaver(m): 10:50am On Dec 31, 2008 |
but the data charge for etisalat is higher than mtn; Etisalat: N0.35/kb Mnt: 15kobo/kb |
Re: Etisalat - Nigeria's 5th GSM Operator by zize: 11:43am On Dec 31, 2008 |
dats not true , MTN charges 70kobo/kb while ETISALAT charges 35kobo/kb. So,how's MTN;s browsing cheaper |
Re: Etisalat - Nigeria's 5th GSM Operator by blackweaver(m): 1:21am On Jan 01, 2009 |
well i'm presently on the mtn site and it shows that gprs IS 15k/sec so unless you work in mtn or you have some inside gist that i'm not aware of, mtn IS CHEAPER for browsing; for more info check this link: http://www.mtnonline.com/data/infopack.aspx besides why will anyone want to use the normal gprs rate? it's much better to use a data plan for browsing and as far as i know Etisalat hasn't started any yet - correct me if am wrong. And until they start as far as browsing is concerned, Etisalat is definitely NOT the way to go |
