I don't know if there's already a thread but I just thought to start one anyway. Here's my one of my favourites. . . . . Easy Breakfast Shake (1 serving) 4 or more ice cubes Fat-Free Vanilla Yogurt (about 1/2 cup) Diet chocolate (or any flavor) powdered drink (Slim-Fast or Slimwell) You will need a blender, at least 4 ice cubes, more if you want it thick. Crush ice, add yogurt, mix the two together and add powdered mix. Blend together for maybe 30 seconds. The exact amount of the ingredients depends on how much of everything you put in. Pour into glass. Enjoy! Do not drink too fast, or you will get ice cream headache. |

hello Amakaone please concerning the smoothie stuff don't mind me oooo what is the meaning of the strawberries and the low fat milk for the low fat milk, are you refering to any milk that has a low fat content in it. thanks dear cheers |

ankeade: @ankeade I think strawberry and bananas are the perfect fruit pairing and what could be better than combining them in a healthy smoothie As for the low fat milk it's just a personal preference. You could use full cream milk (slightly heavier and a lot more fattening I think) , or half & half or 2% milk. Whatever your milk preference is. My sister in law makes the same but puts protein powder and skim milk powder and water instead of the low fat milk to make it more of a protein smoothie. That's the beauty of smoothies I think . Once you've decided on your basic flavours ( Strawberry & banana in this case) You can pretty much play around with the rest to suit your needs and personal taste.

Ah, I've tried this one before but I used soy milk and it comes out really good. Alternatively, you could use fruit juice instead of milk for the smoothies. |
