when I look at the number of posts of some people I get amazed how they
were able to amass such a number so quickly but when I look at their posts
I wonder aloud

NO WONDER! embarassed

So many people post just to have their number increase, is there any award for the
highest number of post?

Please if you don't have anything meaningful to say it is better you lipsrsealed

Sorry if this hit anybody. I am just tired of going through pages of posts after some
lay off and all I could see are gibberish. It is better we bring some sanity into this place

DON'T MIND ME JARE cheesy cheesy

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL AND SUNDRY! WHETHER YOU LOVE OR HATE US!

At least something making a lot of sense to me and impartial fans:

Manchester United must have known what was coming at the Stadio Olimpico. Roma, under Luciano Spalletti, believe in starting matches at a pace Fernando Alonso would approve of.

Sir Alex Ferguson will have instilled in his players to expect an early onslaught, yet rarely this season have United looked as uncomfortable as they did in the opening few minutes in Rome.

When you consider the balance of the ninety minutes, United can afford to consider themselves fortunate. Playing with ten men for more than half the game against such technically gifted opposition and getting away with a 2-1 reverse is something you can't really complain about. Admit it, United fans, when Paul Scholes was given his marching orders you feared a much heavier defeat might be forthcoming, didn't you?

The United boss admitted later that the hardest thing about playing Roma is dealing with their unorthodox but highly effective system. Instead of using one fixed central striker they attack the opposition rather in the manner of a revolving door.

One minute it's Francesco Totti: the next, he drops deep and Rodrigo Taddei, Mancini or Simone Perrotta take over. Not surprisingly, the United back four (minus Gary Neville and Nemanja Vidic) endured their fair share of nervous moments.

While the Premiership leaders were comprehensively outplayed in the first half, they deserve full credit for a resilient second half showing while a man short. The goal, so coolly taken by Wayne Rooney, was deliciously constructed by Cristiano Ronaldo and Ole Gunnar Solksjaer.

Mind you, Spalletti played his ace, by replacing Swede Christian Wilhelmsson with the Montenegran Mirko Vucinic. The move paid an immediate dividend, when Vucinic slotted home Roma's second goal.

Roma are frankly a delight to watch. My only argument with them concerns their tactics in the last twenty minutes of the game. For some reason, there was a desire to change who they are. The nerves were jangling, and it affected their play. All of a sudden, preserving a 2-1 lead became more important than adding to their advantage.

Will that switch from cavalier to cagey come back to haunt them at Old Trafford? An absorbing second leg is in store.

Look at you, you dey laff!  cheesy cheesy, even when your ownteam lost at home?U still happy ,right? Dat shows how anti you are about United. smiley

Ok, make we yarn fact, Arsene Wenger needs to go wash his head fastly in a flowing ocean (odo ti o n shon) grin.

We will bounce back no doubt!. You and i know Chelsea would drop points at the emirates and they are still playing 'em Pools.United is done with pool and Arsenal this season, so we on a good shape. Am beginning to think our superior goal difference would judge atthe end.

Oloye Kit, I agree the title race has just gone Haywire!
Re: Manchester United Fan thread: Forever Reds by jgirl3: 8:31pm On Apr 07, 2007
Rikky, don't worry jare - we WILL rise.

j-girl:

Rikky, don't worry jare - we WILL rise.

Yeah, J gurl, i envisage we should rise, but am bothered that the Roman army has got this impetus they needed since xmas, Once we lose, they would change their gear. Now they would be so pumped up and fired up to meet us, hence anyteam that meets chelsea now isin trouble.Ofcos, this defeat has meade me believe we are going to demolish Roma, the players would be hungry and yearning to appease the Fans.

Like i said in 'em Gunners thread, baba Aleex made a nusance of himsef by starting Oshea, Richardson and Fletcher. Those guys are buncha wastepipes!.He may have used 'em as a second half sub after demolishing portsmouth.

In the Prematch conference, Redknapp believed we were fielding our strongest team cos he felt Fergie needed the league title than UEFA CL, alas baba played his joker in a ridiculos manner.
