Because Nigeria did not get to the quarter finals in the 2014 World Cup?
Now is the time to remember that Oliseh can coach the Eagles, abi?

We av some1 who has delivered & we wnt 2 replace im. Can't we have a coach 4 5 or 8 yrs 4 d sake of stability ? If oliseh is so gud let im go & win a major trophy somewhr. Rather dan dis daft NFA 2 develop better youth programmes dat wil produce technically sound players (players who can deliver perfect corner kicks, crosses, & free kicks. Players with immaculate passing & ball winning abilities) they r negotiating with carlos queiroz & talkin about oliseh. Sad truth is dat we av technically deficient players, keshi no doubt needs assistants-we nid an opposition scout/monitor and a gud tactical trainer. Keshi is still d man 4 d job, we just nid 2bring in kelechi iheneacho, yaya etc 2replace mikel & moses. Local lads should also come in into our midfield. Our slow & inept midfield contributed 2our exit.

WHAT OF YOBO?

lalaboi: Personally I feel Oliseh is a good 'Analyst'. He has no track record/Achievements in managing and i'd rather they employed someone who has experience than experiment wih Oliseh.

Who's suitable for the Job>? at the moment i dont see any Nigerian Coach on Keshi's level. For continuity sake? maybe just give Amokachi a chance. . The worst that could happen is a bad defence to the Afcon title. Then we can look at changing thing.

Oliseh seems to be the most qualified of all. In terms of qualification no one in Nigeria can beat him. Amokachi is absolutely clueless. WAFU is a case in point.

God will bless you for the bolded. Nigerians think it is the job of the Senior national team coach to teach grown a$$ men like Musa, Osaze, Mikel, Emenike and other players how to play corners and free kicks, or how to have good positioning offensively and defensively. These are things you learn at U12-U14 level. Even Okocha alluded to this on Supersports when he said what most European kids know about football at age 10, African kids don't learn until they are 17 or 18. There is no tactical play you can carry out as a coach if you don't have players with the technical ability to execute them.

Football over the world is all about practical experience, whether in tactics or technical, so once one stops playing he or she stops acquiring experience.

It is only in Nigeria you can see somebody with the highest qualification in coaching, without practical experience i.e. has not be able to coach any team, be it primary school, secondary school or even a club in the last 6 years since after the said interview, yet we want to give him our National team to coach.

It is a pity.

I like ur comment, dis Kelechi should be in Super Eagle by now, we shouldn't wait till d guy get old n useless. His age mates are in d world cup already, james, cambell, Benald of Brazil etc

Some of we Nigerians are too sentimental if not what has Oliseh of all people got to offer. He has contributed nothing to football development in Nigeria, hence he is not qualify in all aspect. I think Daniel Omokachi might be a good replacement for Keshi.

U r vry right. We lack quality personnels no doubt, yobo in dat france game shd av instructed our forwards & midfielders 2get back & defend wen france laid seige @ our area. Yobo as d capt failed 2 rally his troops. He shd av instructed team mates to defend our goal during corners which we failed 2do in almost all our matches. It cost us against argentina. If a player was at d goal he wud av kicked out dat pogba header. D 2nd french goal was caused by yobo 2, d french dude was in his front unmarked. He shd av barked @ omeruo who was beside im dat moment 2close im down. D captain & oda senior players especially snail mikel r suppose 2take responsibilities & direct properly on d pitch, they shd lead wit examples, d coach shd nt b telin dem 2take d initiative. U flight an over hit pass 2 xavi or suarez, they wil stil manage 2move incisively wit d ball. Many of our players can't control d ball effortlessly, they av 2look & pass. Oda world class players dnt look @ dia team mates b4 passin or scoring. Let us develop a stand out under age programmes dat wil give us new amunekes, uche okechukwu, messi, ronaldo etc. We can do it, it's just serious planning.

U dnt nid tactical play always 2win matches, just do d basics by defending well 4rm d middle & take ur limited chances. If moses, mikel, gabriel & yobo were alive we wud b playing Germany 2day.

Isnt it the same Oliseh that was dropped by Christian Chukwu for the 2002 World Cup for disciplinary reasons
Isnt it the same Oliseh sacked by Dortmund for punching Vahid Hashemian
the same Oliseh accused by Genks of age cheating and retired due to this

Isiterere: let's see how he will turn analysis to coaching

Without any effort and for the FUN of it; FTC

ALL IZZ WELL

How do you mean? Enemy of progress, I guess Keshi "Mr sitdown look" is your uncle, a coach who couldn't say a word when his players were intentionally injured, aren't you seeing other coaches behaviour? He can not even stand up and instruct his players? I doubt if he have any way of giving sign to his players , he just sit and look !!What kind of coach is that? His not a member of supporter club, his the coach and he should have some technical abilities abeg!

You no dey watch EPL? LA LIGA? Aren't you seeing the way coaches act when the game is on?
What kind of coach just sit down for 90mins?

I have also been disappointed by Oliseh defending players who refuse to train in the middle of world cup because of Bonuses

His defence? African players have a lot of responsibility to their immediate community and hence need a lot of money to fund that?

am like for real? sabbotagging the aspirations of a Nation just because footballers want to be heroes in their community? what happened to living with your means or spending within your means?

felai: Hmmm, OLISEH

A JOKE I LIKE (Source Copied)

After their return from Brazil World cup, the Super Eagles were so ashamed of their defeat that they decided to disguise themselves so as not to be recognized. Mikel disguised himself as a monk and was walking on the street when suddenly an old lady walked up to him and said "Mikel how far na?". Mikel was so surprised that he ran away annoyed that the old woman could recognize him despite his disguise.
................
Disappointed, he went home and dressed as a pregnant woman, again he bumped into the same old lady and she said, "Mikel how far na, see as you just run the other day". Confused and frustrated Mikel asked "but mama how do you keep recognizing me despite my disguises"? The old lady replied: "Hahaha, Mikel na wa for you oh, look me well na, It's me Yobo" grin grin grin
long time no see

shigo slim: For you fans of keshi, am sorry keshi are'nt best coach. He won AFCON luckily, qualify for word cup narrowly escaped with controversial goal. Keshi simply lack tactical substitution, tactical way of converting chances to goal scoring. A case study Nigeria vs France, Nigeria vs Ethiopia e.t.c

For me siasa is the best man for the job.
Sia that couldn't even qualify Nigeria for Afcon. Park well joor. SK still remain d boss.
