Briareos: All the people praising God here, attributing this error to the greatness of God needs to be ceremonially lobotomized. Many of them with passable faces spend one hour packing a thousand grams of make up on their faces yet they see this monstrosity as a blessing from God...
She is still a gift from God take it or you leave it.

The same happened in

John chapter 9

As he went along, he saw a man blind from
birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi,
who sinned, this man or his parents, that he
was born blind?”
“Neither this man nor his parents sinned,”
said Jesus, “but this happened so that the
works of God might be displayed in him.
As long as it is day, we must do the works
of him who sent me. Night is coming, when
no one can work. While I am in the world, I
am the light of the world.”
After saying this, he spit on the ground,
made some mud with the saliva, and put it
on the man’s eyes. “Go,” he told him,
“wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word
means “Sent”). So the man went and
washed, and came home seeing.
His neighbors and those who had formerly
seen him begging asked, “Isn’t this the same
man who used to sit and beg?” Some
claimed that he was.
Others said, “No, he only looks like him.”
But he himself insisted, “I am the man.”
“How then were your eyes opened?” they
asked.
He replied, “The man they call Jesus
made some mud and put it on my eyes. He
told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went
and washed, and then I could see.”
“Where is this man?” they asked him.
“I don’t know,” he said.
The Pharisees Investigate the Healing
They brought to the Pharisees the man
who had been blind. Now the day on
which Jesus had made the mud and opened
the man’s eyes was a Sabbath. Therefore
the Pharisees also asked him how he had
received his sight. “He put mud on my
eyes,” the man replied, “and I washed, and
now I see.”
Some of the Pharisees said, “This man is
not from God, for he does not keep the
Sabbath.”
But others asked, “How can a sinner perform
such signs?” So they were divided.
Then they turned again to the blind man,
“What have you to say about him? It was
your eyes he opened.”
The man replied, “He is a prophet.”
They still did not believe that he had
been blind and had received his sight until
they sent for the man’s parents. “Is this
your son?” they asked. “Is this the one you
say was born blind? How is it that now he
can see?”
“We know he is our son,” the parents
answered, “and we know he was born blind.
But how he can see now, or who opened
his eyes, we don’t know. Ask him. He is of
age; he will speak for himself.” His
parents said this because they were afraid of
the Jewish leaders, who already had decided
that anyone who acknowledged that Jesus
was the Messiah would be put out of the
synagogue. That was why his parents
said, “He is of age; ask him.”
A second time they summoned the man
who had been blind. “Give glory to God by
telling the truth,” they said. “We know this
man is a sinner.”
He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or
not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I
was blind but now I see!”
Then they asked him, “What did he do to
you? How did he open your eyes?”
He answered, “I have told you already
and you did not listen. Why do you want to
hear it again? Do you want to become his
disciples too?”
Then they hurled insults at him and said,
“You are this fellow’s disciple! We are
disciples of Moses! We know that God
spoke to Moses, but as for this fellow, we
don’t even know where he comes from.”
The man answered, “Now that is
remarkable! You don’t know where he comes
from, yet he opened my eyes. We know
that God does not listen to sinners. He
listens to the godly person who does his will.
Nobody has ever heard of opening the
eyes of a man born blind. If this man
were not from God, he could do nothing.”
To this they replied, “You were steeped
in sin at birth; how dare you lecture us!” And
they threw him out.
Spiritual Blindness
Jesus heard that they had thrown him
out, and when he found him, he said, “Do
you believe in the Son of Man?”
“Who is he, sir?” the man asked. “Tell
me so that I may believe in him.”
Jesus said, “You have now seen him; in
fact, he is the one speaking with you.”
Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and
he worshiped him.
Jesus said, “For judgment I have come
into this world, so that the blind will see and
those who see will become blind.”
Some Pharisees who were with him heard
him say this and asked, “What? Are we blind
too?”
Jesus said, “If you were blind, you would
not be guilty of sin; but now that you claim
you can see, your guilt remains.

To all those mocking God,you don't understand how the world works.
Not everything that goes on in this earth can be ascribed to God.There are three kingdoms that govern this earth;
The Kingdom of God
The kingdom of satan and
The kingdom of men

The three kingdoms can change the course of an event.

This girl's mother could have been on some drugs not good for pregnant women. She could also have been exposed to radiation or something like that.

Amen.I also pray you don't meet this kind of blessing in Jesus name. cry

actually, i understand nobody'll wish for that kind of a child

but, God still knows about it, unless u want to say God doesn't know everything

that thing is a congenital anomaly, unfortunately it is compatible with life, so it is against medical ethics to kill the child - so doctors won't agree with euthanasia in a standard hospital

coming back to God, you shouldn't have said it's a mistake from God, God is above mistake, He's not human being

that guy shouldn't have abused you, but i wish you edit that comment, i know you believe in God, and you acknowledge His power

back to congenital anomaly, they happen more than you ever think, many miscarriages are actually ones incompatible with life, and some, the person may not even know

for example, many people have just a kidney, and they don't know, it's an anomaly

I watched a documentary on this guy some years ago, his name is Jono Lancaster, he was born with Treacher Collins Syndrome and his parents too embarrassed to deal with his condition, gave him up for adoption.

He grew up facing rejection and discrimination because of his looks, now his face looks better because over the years, he's undergone multiple face reconstructions.

As of when I watched this documentary, he and his pretty girlfriend were facing a dilemma. They planned to conceive but there was a good chance of passing the disease to their offspring so they had to seek specialist private treatment which involved scientifically isolating & eliminating the defective genes & then injecting them into an already harvested egg, it was painful to watch them go through such agony.

Is it worth it? Pro lifers should go to hell, man must takes steps to improve the quality of the human specie & that involves eliminating congenital diseases where possible.

Personally I've always felt that there are some babies that should put to sleep at birth.... to spare the a miserable life. It's just that people are too emotional about some of these things.

for instance, a baby born without any limbs, no hands no legs..... what is the point of keeping a such a baby alive. is it not better for such a baby to return back to God.....

I see this as massive stupidity. If the woman can sacrifice so much as to Marty him with his looks, then he could have offered the little sacrifice of telling the woman to get pregnant to artificial insemination.

What is the pride of showing off another daughter with similar disfigured face. Imagine what kind of life she'll go through.

I say it again..... this is very stupid......

it's not that easy, the doctors know many people are like you, so they won't show you the child like they do normally

they'll counsel you almost to stupor {lol}, give you options to manage it

unless you'll kill the child yourself, and the health workers may report you

but ultimately, you and i don't pray for it

I'm not sure it's their child though, because they did go around raising awareness and met many kids with similar condition.

I can't find anymore updates on them now. I do remember when their documentary aired, they were going for artificial insemination but were encountering stiff opposition from disability organisations who wanted them to gamble.

Could this be some genetic or physiological anomaly? Or her mother is doing something wrong during pregnancy? Because even her sister seems to be showing signs of facial deformity.
Thank God someone thought about plastic surgery, but then it ain't cheap!

See this guy, he suffers from a condition called Neurofibromatosis, women don't look at his face twice, kids are scared of his face, no one will give him a job lest he drives customers away.

The only job he does is performing at a freak show.

Again is it worth it? Shouldn't his parents have done the needful?

That's why I hate it when people here on NL use the word 'ugly' loosely. If you are fund of using that word, pray that this doesn't happen to your own child. Abeg, ladies should take care of their body. Don't drink alcohol, smoke or take hard drugs while pregnant. Don't compete with your great grand mother and form super woman- go for anti natal care. If you have a boxer as a husband, stay away from him! I don talk my own.
