And we all know Messi sells for Adidas and ronaldo sells for Nike. . .So it is really biased and by the way the world cup doesn't remember who won the Golden ball in the previous world cup, it mostly remembers the winners and the star player in the team so I tell you two years from now nobody will remember Messi's Golden Ball instead they'll remember Gotze's incredible goal despite not even being in the team of tournament.

Hell nobody even remembered Diego Forlan won it four years ago until towards the end of the tournament.

naturalwaves: Messi being awarded the golden ball is a clear midnight robbery orchestrated from the round tables of FIFA and Sepp Blatter. It was already planned, they planned to give it to Messi if Argentina loses. There were a couple of better players in this world cup. Toni Kroos, arguably the best midfielder was better than messi, even Thomas Muller just to mention a few. They just wanted to protect Messi's image by giving him a kangaroo mvp award.
