In his article When Will Jonathan Apologize to Nigeria? Dr. Peregrino Brimah, inspirer of the Every Nigerian Do Something group, criticizes President Goodluck Jonathan and the government headed by him, arguing that Jonathan has allowed "incomprehensible wickedness" to unfold freely under his watch.

Dr. Brimah reacted to President Jonathan media aide Reuben Abati’s article the latter penned for Washington Times, Nigeria’s offensive against Boko Haram Charges of a ‘do-nothing’ strategy are misconceived, defending Goodluck Jonathan and the military’s approach to dealing with the Boko Haram deadly menace.

"I wondered how he feels when he wakes up every morning to another day where the art-of-lying-and-discombobulating will again be perfected and applied at and to literally all matters of national interest." Dr. Brimah wrote.

He then proceeded to voice his own list of President Jonathan’s biggest failures:

inability and/or refusal to deal with and/or eradicate Boko Haram, and insecurity in general, despite billions of naira allocated to the corresponding sector annually. As a result, almost 200 abducted Chibok schoolgirls are still in the hands of the terrorists who are most likely abusing them; agricultural economy is being destroyed, over 80,000 peasants have been killed and 3 million northern farmers displaced in the North;
the fact that Nigeria is now officially at the world’s top position in oil vandalism. Dr. Brimah doubts that Government Ekpemupolo (also known as Tompolo), a powerful Niger Delta militant and a billionaire whom President Jonathan appointed to secure the oil facilities in the region, is indeed fulfilling his duty faithfully, since today, "we have the worst level of [oil theft] in our entire military and non-military history and have achieved the #1 position in the world";
the fact that President Jonathan apparently favours – "loves," according to Brimah – criminals and terrorists, as, after four years of Jonathan being in power, Boko Haram came to prominence and "not a single sponsor of the terror group has been convicted";
the fact that current government "frees all criminals and killers". Dr. Brimah names Hamza al-Mustapha, the interior minister Abba Moro, Ayodele Fayose, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, and Jonathan’s spouse Dame Patience Jonathan, for their involvement in multiple controversies of varying levels and their subsequent acquittal;
the fact that Nigerian army, once a very "prestigious" force, is today globally notorious for "deadly corruption, hopelessness and terror aiding, killing its own soldiers, supplying arms and cover to terrorists, inflicting direct terror on the citizenry".
Also, Dr. Brimah mentions a "well-known" truths that Nigeria is now number one
kidnap capital of the world,
most terrorized nation on Earth,
for dangerous high sea piracy,
in oil spill pollution,
in poverty in cognizance of population/economy figures.
"With all this, as Nigeria falls down … and becomes a globally registered and acknowledged nation of … every terrible indices there is, the question is – is there any point where the president of Nigeria will apologize for this incomprehensible wickedness?" Dr. Brimah questions rhetorically in conclusion.
