Statement from the Defence Headquarters:

Troops on patrol around Delwa and
neighbouring communities (in Borno State
on Wednesday) successfully broke through
insurgents’ ambush 35kilometres to
Maiduguri as they advanced to dislodge
insurgents who were massing up in the area.
The fierce fire fight that ensued as the troops
wadded through the ambush left scores of
insurgents dead, while 3 soldiers died in
action.

7 soldiers who incurred various degrees of
injuries have been evacuated for treatment
while the troops have continued with their
mission.

I hate d way we treat our soldiers in ds con3; its not 9c @ all; soldiers loose their lives on daily bases; n all they do is just announcing it; without telling us their names, or revealing their identities; no National hoonours bestowed on dem; 4 bravery; d tin is just very annoying n unbecoming; I don't like it 1 bit...
Does any1 have d email oor contact of d defence HQ ; or security powerhouse; lemme inundate their servers with mails, till dey becomme sensible n reasonable... N stope treating peoples beloved as guinea pigs

Until they clear Sambisa and take control of the place with pictures to show for it, all these thing na wash!
