Dragonking: WHICH EVIDENCE? YOU PROVIDE WEBSITE LINK AS EVIDENCE. IF SAHARAREPORTERS REPORTED ANY NEWS THAT AGAINST GEJ YOU WILL DOUBT THR CREDIBILITY OF THE NEWS. WHY IS OBJ STILL MOVING FREELY WITHOUT BEING PROSECUTED? WHO ARE THE EVERYONE? STOP DECEIVING YOURSELF. I WONDER WHAT WILL BECOME OF GEJ AFTER HIS ADMINISTRATION. |

500GP: Your level of reasoning is really low..so u want me to post videos of obj looting the money live or what? You also dont believe sahara reporters becos they exposed your masters evil ways? If it was the same sahara reporters that released negative news about gej u would believe right? I have backed all my arguements with u with reasonable and different sources of evidences but you are yet to debunk any of them with a proof. |

Arsenate: where was it said cleaners will be called doctors? no need to exaggerate in order to pass across your message, sir. what most health workers are fighting for is the right to rise to the pinnacle of their careers as is obtainable in saner countries. if our society isn't one filled with ego, sentiments and pettiness, it's a very welcomed move. it simply means we will have better trained pharmacist, nurses, radiographers etc all working with the doctors FOR THE GOOD OF THE PATIENT. but what do I know. What does pinnacle of their career mean? |

godsI: I have a simple advice to our magnificient GEJ, they are as follows: All serving doctors shall henceforth cease to own any private hospitals. Those who already have will cease to work for govt. Every health implement purchased by the govt must bear a medical company indelible mark. Any govt owned implements found in any private hospital(with the help of the mark) will incure life imprisonment. The entire executive members of NMA should be sacked, starting from their president, and their emolument shall not be paid ever(as deserters). Our dear president, in his wisdom, knows how to work under the surface and patiently too to bring it all to completion. Long live GEJ, long live this great strategist, long live Nigeria!if doctors working for the government are prevented from running private hospitals, then pharmacists, medical lab scientists...,etc who have private pharmacies and labs, in addition to their government employment, should also close down the said places. People clamoring against doctors owning private hospitals forget that if implemented, they too would be required to close down their private labs and pharmacies. Everything done will have to be implemented across board. |

tochimas: A beg everybody should go buy where there is no doctors, its a very important book to have at home even where there is a doctor. after all majority of these our present crops of medical doctors kills more people than they save, only few emergency situation is going to be needing them this season , if other health professionals are well trained, they should be able to handle most, and the ones they can't handle should be referred to the army or private hospital, they can all open their own hospitals for all I care but they should first resign from the govt owned hospitals first. ogawisdom: Jonathan shld take some lessons frm fashiola on hw to humble the oversized ego of these physician. They ve kidnapped this country already n asking for outrageous random Declare their strike illegal, Sack those unwilling to resume work n employ new ones funny u NMA is one big and organized family. if u sack all doctors under FG pay roll, do u think that those of us in private setting are willing to work and receive those peanuts with insult? my advise to FG is to privatize all govt hospitals... pay off those workers that are redundant. FG do not have right to ban doctors under their pay roll from owning a hospital ... many Nurses, lab guys, pharmacist also have their own set ups so why the noises. privatization remains the only solutions |

nationwide24: No need for google here. Everyone knows it. In hospital environment, d term "doctor" is exclusively for medical doctors to avoid confusion. Or you mean we should have doctor pharmacy technicians, doctor theatre attendant, doctor lab scientist, etc.Mumu !!! I tot you have sense. Why not doctor medical doctor. Since they are the only ones entitilled to it. What is the meaning of "doctor pharmacy technicians, doctor theatre attendant, doctor lab scientist" kai. Gaskiya you are really senselesssssss. |

Elythron16zero4: so if i have a phd in anatomy or physiology or histology or dermatology, what will i be called?medical allied doctor? don't this people treat or aid treatment? This is where people get it all wrong. There's a clear distinction between a PhD degree and a professional doctorate degree (e.g. MBBS, PharmD). One is professionally inclined and the other is purely academic. If for example, a nurse goes on to get a PhD degree in nursing, it's meant solely for academic purposes and not for professional purposes. It doesn't proffer on him/her any extra professional qualities. In the same vein, if a medical doctor gets a PhD degree, it also doesn't accord him/her any extra professional qualities. What confers the 'consultancy status' on a medical doctor is the completion of a rigorous 'residency' programme in a particular medical specialty. Other healthcare fields do not have such programmes (kindly correct me if I'm wrong). What obtains are academic advancement and hence, the reluctancy to accord other healthcare workers 'consultancy status'. |
