Looking at our backyard here in Nigeria I know it is visible if our politician/rulers start taking the right steps in right direction. Though, it may take years to realized.
This cannot be said in international arena where politics, terrorism, and extremists rule.
Inasmuch there is conflict in interests there will always be disagreement that would lead to war.
Human shall continue to destroy the beautiful society/environment they built over the years.

Peace will reign on earth only when the sources of free energy are finally released, and nobody needs to pay for energy. My brother it is not fantasy o. We have stuff like Quantum Vacuum Zero Point Energy, more commonly known as Zero Point Energy, which is a technology under research by countries like China, US, Germany, Brazil etc, which, when finally released will mean free energy for all. It will definitely change the equation of everything for the better. It would have been nice to see Naija in the midst of such groundbreaking research. Zero Point energy could be used to power even our future spaceships.

As long as the desire to make money supersedes every other, there can never be peace!!

Some of the biggest corporations we have in the world today are those that deal with production and sale of arms and other military hardware!!

They would be put out of business should the world be at peace, hence to keep their business afloat and flourishing, they, most times, deliberately create all sorts of chaos around the world and cause governments to patronise them in the course of trying to suppress those uprising.

Further, the world powers, especially the US, asserts itself by constantly creating an atmosphere of instability around the globe. When there is no peace, development can scarcely take place. If you don't develop, you can't get so strong as to challenge the Empire State, therefore ensuring you are kept in check and under control for as long as necessary. Forget all those peanuts handed out to States in form of aids. If the US really want states to develop, what they would pursue is trade liberalization and not some damn meagre handouts.
