Growing up as a child, my dad had a small generator that we hardly ever had to use. power then was a little more constant in the 80's then. Power supply has degenerated steadily since then. getting worse each year.

Now, judging from sooooo many factors like those that import diesel into Nigeria from their personal refineries outside Nigeria, owners of Generator importation and distribution companies (remember they have children and those children will have children so the 'family' business must go on), undying and unshaking CORRUPTION in Nigeria....the list is endless.

Can any logical Nigerian expect that some day in this life we will take light for granted? u don't have to iron your clothes for the week whenever there is power, factor in hiring of generator and diesel into your party budget, having *fuel for generator for the month* as one the punch items as you plan your next salary, not have high currents that have killed so many from fire outbreaks, not hear of deaths from generator fumes anymore........na wa.
