It is a shame that the governor of Bayelsa state was arrested in London on charges of corruption. At the same time, it is great news for we poor Nigerians because this is just another good step in the right direction as we try to wipe out corruption in Nigeria. The interpol and other western security agents should watch out for more criminals like Babangida, Useni, Umaru Diko, etc. These guys stole billions of dollars that should have been used in building schools, hospitals, good roads, creating jobs etc for our citizens. The best place for these criminals is the jail house. |

Why interpol? I cant hear any good news at all. Its a shame that a thief can be our governor. Why did he have to be arrested in London. Why not in Nigeria where he steals the money from? Rubbish. I cant see any good attempt to wipe corruption yet. |

Perhaps the message the EFCC is trying to send is that, even if you have some immunity in Nigeria by virtue of your office, you can still be arrested by foreign security operatives whenever they travel abroad to enjoy their loot. |
