i am so confused and disturbed right now i am a constant guest on nairaland but i had no choice but to be a nairalander for me to get advice. my boss just told me today that i would be going to maiduguri on an assignment for two weeks . All my pleas didn't even move him as i explained the current situation of that state generally. All he told me was nothing would happen to me and i will be back safely. please anyone with any information no matter how little should help me out here. Best and safe hotels to stay, situation of things right now in the town etc whatever info you share will be appreciated. |

You don't have to worry about the town, the main issue is the road which is deadly and unpredictable. Without protection, traveling there is suicide. Your Boss is Nuts I tell ya. 1 Like |

Hmmmm The only people who can be sent on an assignment in that state should be the military men  Op are you a military man? If yes, then you have to go. If no, go and pray to your God. |
