The reason for their stability/apparent discovery is that they started supportive therapy early, unlike most patients who reported to hospital when the symptoms were obvious, these were being monitored and supportive therapy began immediately they showed any signs of fever.Again these medics had short term exposure and were relatively unstressed unlike the medics that died in Sierra Leone and Liberia that had been on the frontline treating Ebola patients for weeks and some even months, having repeated exposure to Ebola patients and were badly stressed. Early detection and early intervention is the key to improved outcomes.

Thank God! They will all be healed in Jesus name.
Every loose vein that need to be tightened will be tightened, every tightened vein that need to be loosed will be loosed in Jesus name. Every dead cell shall come back to live in Jesus name. Healing is their portion.

Fashola is a politician and he may not have full info. Though i agree that if by now we have not heard that the doc who contracted it is not deteriorating, then things may be looking up. But have u seen the pictures of where they are isolating them. U need to check it out and see if u can trust the government with anything they say.

GentleMimi: USA denied Naija the ZMapp serum.
Our Nigerian patients (apart from the nurse) are still alive till now. What else can i say? The ''Balm Of Gilead'' is at work.. Prayers are going on for all of them by family and colleagues. I pray the Good Lord becomes our Zmapp.
Not only will he preserve them,he will make them whole. I pray they come out of this alive, and all organs intact and functioning perfectly. Is anything too difficult for God? No. We will do our best, the Lord will do beyond the best.
This should be a lesson to Naija government. Buckle up!
Pls always remember them in ur prayers. We shall overcome!

DjAndroid: Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, Monday said all the patients who had tested positive to the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) and currently undergoing treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, were in “stable condition”.

The governor also explained that while the health status of the victims of the deadly virus had not deteriorated, five of them were “really improving,” adding, “Ebola is not an automatic death sentence.”

Very good news. Absolutely impressive.

I wish them all a full recovery. Surviving the dreadful disease is a big thing in fighting future infection.

Still wondering why US won't approve Zmapp for Nigeria, yet Liberia was approved and Spain received the drugs faster than the speed of light.....
