How will you advise someone in this situation;

She has been applying for a new job for the past six months now. Her current job is not really what she wants to develop a career in. She prefers a career in sales but she really has not done a job in that field before. When she reads the sales job descriptions, she is so convinced this is something she can succeed at. The problem is how can she prove it on her CV and during interview that she can do it though she has never done it before.

Any HR/Recruitment specialist in the house to advise? We all can learn from this.
