hey all
what am i expected to enter in TELEPHONE PIN colum on my ebay account

also when i was calling ebay, i was asked to provide my registered phone no with area code, when i entered my phone number i was told my account was unable to verify with this phone n and that i should go to my account to check for my registered phone o. on-getting to my account, i dont know where to check or my registered phone no only what i can see is the TELEPHONE PIN of which i don't understand it meaning in the first instance,
please where am i to see my registered no on my account because i have spent around 500 now or calling ebay without solution

if you have gotten your one time pass code, when you call ebay, they'll ask for your registered phone number. That is your nigerian number you used for registration. Just put your number like that and hold on.

The voice speaking will say Hmmm I don't understand the number or something like the system does not recognise the number. Don't fret, hold on and after some seconds it will further prompt you on what you want to do and transfer you to customer care.

just make sure you use your registered number to make the call. Still hold on after the prompt to verify your number, you'll be transfered to cc. Hope this helps

Sir where exactly on my ebay account can I locate my registered ebay phone no because I am confused for I give them the phone number I think I registered with but my account was not recognised with that phone and as such I was not attended to by ebay cc rep just waste about 500naira without achievement, or am I getting it wrong with the Area code which I enter to be 2348132873798.

I have tried my best even Giving the guy a step by step method of getting it done.. He is complaining about 500 naira when I wasted almost 2000 naira calling them without solution until I got my one time pass code..

@bolded is very false. Once U ve Ur passcode U will be directed straight to a cc rep, same thing for 3 different pple whose accounts got suspended.
You will only be asked to confirm Ur phone number if U don't ve a passcode or if Ur passcode has expired(it expires after 15minutes).
I rest my case.

I understand where I am getting it wrong now, the passcode I used was generated around 12am but I called by 3am because then I was unable to generate new passcode as ebay popup as message telling the service was not available then ,so I use the one I have generated at 12am not knowing that it expire after 15minute
I appriciate you all for ur guidance. I will try again tonight I pray the system generate the passcode for me by that time sha,!!!

Got my laptop today, the whole process went smooth but the lagos Address can be written in a better way like including after the cannal .

please do not touch your PayPal info. Only change your primary address on ebay and don't touch your registered address.
