No, he should just let go. There's nothing he can do. He should accept his letter of exemption and move on with his life. Might be bitter but its the truth. If he tries paying anyone to change this, they will only dupe him. So sorry for him sha.

You are suppose to get an sms from NYSC stating the acknowledgement of your successful registration and that it's has started processing you(prospective batch C corp) for mobilisation. Oh yeah! It would also say, your call up number would be sent to you in due time..

sodiqyinka: Here is the info on how you will go about editing your data directly from jamb website:
1. Go to www.jamb.org.ng

2. Click on your exam year; you will see different options on the exam year dashboard.

3. Click on amend data[b]( Regularized candidates only); [/b] it will take you to another page.

4. Input your Jamb registration number on this page and click validate; it will take you to another page.

5. You will then be able to edit the following: Order of names, State of Origin and Local Government, Date of Birth and so on.

P.S: Its advisable we give it little time for they are still working on the site. And yes, it will automatically update the errors on the NYSC website. God help us all. Bless

All my friends that didn't encounter invalid jamb reg number got the sms. The ones that had jamb reg number issues didn't.. don't knw if my theory is correct though. But I can categorically say that "All my Course mates frm my school! That registered and paid without the invalid jamb reg number gripe all got the message"
