Why Do We Pretend About This? by Realtol(m): 7:47am On Aug 22, 2014
Let's pretend! Let's pretend there is love in
the land and Muslims are not killing Christians
but they are killing people... let's pretend the
elected are not stealing the money but they
are maximizing their opportunity, let's pretend
people are not suffering because the policy
makers impoverished them but they are being
punished for the sins they have committed
against God, let's pretend religion is not our
problem in Nigeria but the inordinate ambition
of some politicians who only asked the BH to
attack church when service is being held and
mosque when only two people are there, let's
pretend we will get our bearing very soon as a
nation we just need to continue our stoicism
in this Lugardian marriage, let's pretend
Achebe and Ojukwu didn't want the best for
this nation and were acting for their personal
gain only, let's pretend this government has
been fair as far as election is concerned for
deploying over 30,000 soldiers to Osun and
allowing the result which Aregbe won in a
grand style to be announced (funny?) when
our girls are languishing in that demonic and
predator-infested wilderness, let's pretend
this government is ferociously fighting
corruption even when the likes of Stella Odua,
Faroouk Lawan, Femi Fani Kayode, Bode
George, Al Mustapha, Alamisheigha, Abba
Moro, Abdurasheed Maina, Mohamedd Abacha
etc. are walking free, romancing and are the
best friends of that Zoologist I called my
president, let's pretend that I am Nigerian
and thesecond name people in foreign land
call me is not a scammer, and my land, a
wasted land, let's pretend the people elected
by me are not making life miserable for
people like me with their anti- people policy,
let's pretend I'm not even angry but just
voicing my opinion, lets pretend all is well and
the religious leader are saints... LET'S
PRETEND ALL IS WELL...
