Information reaching me is that one of Bonny local government owned boat christened "Igbanise" capsized in the early hours of this morning, leaving no fewer than 12 people dead. The boat which was said to be on its way to Portharcourt with about 36 passengers on board was over powered by heavy wave mid sea after take off from Bonny Jetty, leaving the boat entirely shattered into bits... |

There seem to be a bit of good news coming from the scene of the incident. I was just told by an eye witness that about 5 of those already confirmed dead have miraculously woken up after the spiritual intervention of a pastor. |
