Welcome to month of new things. In our scriptural text,you would observe the use of two important phrases that would help us unravel the word for the month.
"The former things" and "new things",these two show a clear demarcation in a season.
This month September separates your year into two. From this month you will no longer experience the former things.
You must open your spirit as you study this month's devotional on how to prepare yourself for new things. It begins today.

COMMAND NEW THINGS

Isaiah 43:26 Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.

Remember yesterday's opening scripture reads "Behold, the former things are come to pass,
and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them".ISA 42:9.
Can you spot the similarity? You are right -the word DECLARESome may say i have been shown
many things by God that never came to pass, so why should i expect Him to show me more?
That is not a bad question yet it is instructive.(2 cor 6:1).when God shows you the new
things He has wrought in your life, those things are already finished in heaven. The Bible says
forever your word is settled in Heaven (ps 119:89), but remember we live on earth.

To settle the word on earth, you must declare it. Our opening scricpture is an eye opener
on the subject. We see in that verse, that our declaration is our justification or right to
possess the new things. You must declare it. If joseph never spoke out his dream, he would
never have been sold and never
would have become a ruler in Egypt. As you speak what God has
said, every reaction physical and spiritual would compel its manifestation. As you declare
with your mouth, align your thoughts and actions as well and you would soon be living in that new
place. Halleluyah!

THE COVENANT OF NEW THINGS

Prv 3:9-10 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
God loves covenant. We see throughout scriptures that he is a God of covenant. From Noah to Abraham to Moses and even solomon,it is vivid from scriptures that God keeps His words. A believer who must constantly have the testimony of new things must cultivate the culture of walking with God at a covenant level. You must learn to bind yourself to God by doing what His word prescribes with the full assurance that He in turn would do just what He says. Amen.
One of such covenant that God desires that you enter into with him is the covenant of new things. Our text today says that when a man honours God by giving his first fruits, God's blessing follows. The nature of that blessing is further described as an inflow of plenty, and an overflow of new wine. Glory to God!
This might not be the first month of the year,yet in honour to God you can set apart and give the first part of your income to Him to activate the blessing stated in His word as seen in our text today. You can be sure that He will keep His promise , and you would have testimonies of plenty and new things. Amen!

CLAIM YOUR BLESSINGS

“And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of
the land, and dwell therein: for I have given
you the land to possess it.”.

God is bent on doing new things in our lives
all the time. The Bible says He daily loads
us with benefits (Ps 68:19). However, there
is the need to understand how to receive
what God has promised us. This involves
knowing what God said when the provision
was made.
If in God’s statement He says He has
already done it, then all you have to do is to
boldly go and withdraw it. In other words,
God will never be the reason why that thing
did not come to pass. On the other hand, if
God’s statement is that He will do it, the
performance of such promise is tied to your
obedience. That is, it is necessary to satisfy
His requirements to take delivery of the
promise.
When God speaks a Word, nothing can limit
it. However, it is required that the man to
whom God’s Word came should war with the
prophecy until he sees it come to pass. Take
time out today to review God’s words of
blessing to you, and consider what you must
do to claim them. Glory to God!

SEE THE HARVEST.

Matthew 9:37.
“ Then saith he unto his disciples, The
harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers
are few...”
.......
There is so much harvest that the available
hands alone cannot bring them in, Jesus
says. Yet not many people see the harvest
or the need to join in bringing it in. How
sad!
Expressly stated, our Master came to seek
and save the lost (Luke 19:10). He wants us
to see what He sees, so that we may have
the proper motivation to pursue His agenda
on the earth and thereby qualify to be
rewarded by Him in eternity.Failure to see
and acknowledge the harvest would only
make one short sighted and redundant as a
Christian, and this is not God’s will for us.
Look around you and see how many souls
are still in sin, under the bondage of Satan.
Observe the number of those around you
who are serving God with fervency compared
to those who live in the mire of sin. See the
harvest and let the passion to see the lost
saved drive you today to preach the Gospel,
pray for mass salvation and revival, and to
give for Kingdom expansion.
I Prophecy by Lianna: May the labourer in
you awaken to this call today in Jesus
name.
DO THIS: Observe and consider where you
fall- a labourer, a non-challant Christian or
the one living in sin. Whatever it is, plan to
give yourself more to the Lord today.
SAY THIS: I decree and I declare that I live
everyday as a labourer for Kingdom
expansion.

AUTOMATE YOUR SOWING.

Ecclesiastes 11:4.
"He that observeth the wind shall not sow
and; he that observeth the clouds shall not
reap".
............
Our failure to experience newness in our
lives is not unconnected to our inability to
sow as at when due. Our text today tells us
of the man who because of one excuse or
the other failsto put his seed in the ground.
When the rains come and the season of
harvest approaches,it is not a mystery why
he would have no harvest.
For our prosperity to become automated,our
life of giving must first be automated. In
other words,we must cultivate the culture of
releasing our seeds,regardless of prevailing
circumstances or difficulties. This discipline
is what keeps the heavens constantly open
upon your finances and ensures that your
life is not devoid of refreshingly new things.
Glory to God!
God's will for you is that you prosper (3
John 2). Why? It is because your prosperity
gives Him Joy (psalms 35:27),and He would
want you to have enough to sponsor the
course of the Gospel. It is important you
corporate with Him in making this a
reality,by learning to be consistent in
presenting your vows and oblations before
Him. In doing this,you can be assured of a
consistent unending prosperity and new
things in your finances and in your life.
Amen.

RAISE YOUR EXPECTATION
Ephesians 3:20
“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding
abundantly above all that we ask or think,
according to the power that worketh in us.”
When we talk about asking and receiving
from God, many believers only know that
there is a God in heaven who answers
prayers. Well, while that is true, there is a
deeper truth which our text today opens our
eyes to: God is able to even surpass our
expectations. Glory!
Our God is a God of addition. The Bible says
He daily loads us with benefits (Psa 68:19).
In other words He has programmed us to
experience new things every day. Therefore,
while our hearts are set towards Him each
day in fellowship, and while we seek His
intervention in one area of need or the other,
it is expedient that we do so with full
assurance that He has the wherewithal to
exceed our expectations.
It is faith, not greed, to approach God with
full assurance that He is able to do
exceeding abundantly above all we can ask
or think. Therefore, do not hesitate to come
before Him as often as possible today to
seek His face. He will blow your mind!
LIANNA PROPHESIES: In this month of

STOP LIVING IN THE PAST
-
“Remember ye not the former things, neither
consider the things of old.” - (Isaiah 43:18).
-
Our text today is God’s instruction to you
today. Stop living in the past. To live in the
past is to go about the activities of today
bearing the burdens and regrets of yesterday
with you. It is to blame others or your own
self for what went wrong. By doing so, you
successfully shut yourself off from God’s
provision at the moment.
One other imperfect way to live is to live in
the present. While this is a step ahead of
living in the past, it involves making
decisions based on available facts and
prevailing circumstances. It is what some
people call living in reality. God’s Word
teaches us however that the best and most
profitable way to live our lives is to live in
our prophecy, which is seeing ourselves as
God Word describes us.
It is only in the present that any man
compares with another. When each of us
achieves the full realization of God’s plans
and purpose for our lives, we become
uniquely successful, having no need to look
down on others or be intimidated by another
man’s success. By looking into God’s Word
for the perfect description of who you are,
and aspiring to be all He has written and
spoken about you, you can begin to
metamorphose from glory to glory by His
Spirit. Halleluyah!

AN EVER INCREASING LIFE
Job 8:7

“Though thy beginning was small, yet thy
latter end should greatly increase.”

Poverty is not the agenda of God for your
life, neither is smallness or retrogression.
God wants you to advance and make
progress in all that you set out to do; His
will for you is Prosperity. Glory to God! Our
text today, which is one among so many,
exposes this truth.
_
The parable of talents (Matt 25:14-30)
shows clearly that God’s plan involves
starting you off with little to test your
faithfulness, and then rewarding you with
much more at the latter end.Thus, even if
you start out with little or nothing, with
diligence, by the virtue of your affiliation
with God, and with the anointing of God
backing you, you should experience nothing
short of increase every day and with each
step along the way.
_
With this truth in mind, you ought to plan
and strategize for increase in every area of
your life. You must resolve to be faithful in
that which God has committed into your
care, be it a spouse, a family, a job or
ministry. Set out new ways of going about
your daily activities today in such a way
that it accommodates expansion. Yours is
an ever-increasing life. Halleluyah!

SOW GOD’S WORD

Luke 8:11
“Now the parable is this: The seed is the
word of God.”

God’s Word contains all you need for a
successful life. However, God’s Word will not
work for you just because you read it or
because the Bible is placed under your
pillow all night long. Because it is a seed,
the Word of God has to be planted before it
can produce results in your life.
***
One way to make God’s Word work for you is
to meditate on it. Constantly ruminating on
what Christ has done for you, who you are in
Christ, and the life that you now have will
yield the fruit of constant health and victory
in your life. You also must learn to put
God’s Word into your speech, because
making bold declarations of the Truth will
enforce the performance of God’s promises
in your life. Glory to God!

Therefore, you must diligently sow God’s
Word today by meditating on His Word and
confessing it all day long. While your
meditation will feed and refresh your spirit,
confessing the Word of God even in the face
of contrary happenings would help recreate
everything around you. This is how to sow
God’s Word for a plentiful harvest!

LET GOD LEAD YOU
Isaiah 48:17
“Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the
Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God
which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth
thee by the way that thou shouldest go.”

To enjoy God’s provision every day, you have
to learn and cultivate the habit of listening
to the voice of His Spirit. If you are born
again, the Holy Spirit lives in you, and the
reason He came is so that He can help you
be the best that God has destined you to be.
***
God’s Spirit, being wiser and smarter and
more alert than you are, knows everything
about your past, present and future. He
knows what you must do now to enter into
God’s provision for your life. Getting
acquainted with His Voice and His person is
therefore the right thing to do. This involves
spending quality time in fellowship with Him
every day and meditating on scriptures, so
you can recognize when He speaks to you.

God’s promise to always lead you in the
right path is fulfilled in His giving you the
Holy Spirit. Failure to acknowledge the
person of the Holy Spirit each day in
fellowship is therefore tantamount to
rejecting the help and leadership of God. Let
God lead you today by His Word and
through the voice of His Spirit into His good
plan for your life.

PRAY THE WILL OF GOD

“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”- (1John 5:14-15)

Many people have asked, what exactly is the secret to answered prayers? How can I pray and have the assurance that God would not only hear me but also grant my request? Well, our text today hits the nail on the head. Those who pray according to the will of God get answers from Him. Glory to God!

Often times in prayer, we do not fully understand the circumstances surrounding the issue we are petitioning God for, it therefore remains a mystery how we really should pray on such matters. God has however made a way out for us by baptizing us with His Holy Spirit who the Bible says makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered (Rom 8:26).

The only time we can be assured that we are praying 100% in the will of God is when we pray in tongues. This is how the Holy Spirit intercedes for us, aligning our prayers with the perfect will of God automatically. So lift up your voice right away and pray in the Holy Ghost. It is not right to keep what God has done for
you to yourself alone. Our text today implies
that there is a greater victory in sharing our
testimonies. In fact, the reason we heard
about Jesus in our days is because the
apostles who were first with Him refused to
keep quiet; they testified about His Name
and power everywhere they went.

Your testimony is an advertisement of God’s
work and nature to your sphere of contact
and influence. Every time you share your
testimony, God receives His Glory, someone
acquires faith, and your victory becomes a
reference point and remains permanent. Say
Amen to that!
Let it be a point of duty today to share what
God has done in your life with the people
around you at your workplace, with new
friends and other believers. It is yet another
opportunity for you to share your faith and
testify to God’s goodness and faithfulness.
This is yet another way to enjoy the new
things God has ordained for you. Praise God!

GOD WANTS YOU HEALED

“And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched
him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And
immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”-
(Matthew 8:3).
Healing and divine health are good gifts
from God and they belong to God’s children.
Yet, some people do not believe in divine
healing at all. Some even say things like,
“God can heal, if it is His will”, or “It might
be His will to heal some people of some
sickness, but not all of them.” This thinking
is both erroneous and unscriptural.
It is so vital to know for ourselves what the
Word says so that Satan will not deceive us
in any way. God does not use sickness and
disease to teach you a lesson. It is His will
that you live in health and prosper (3John
2). The leprous man in our text today came
to Jesus saying ‘if it is your will you can
heal me’, and Jesus didn’t say ‘I’d think
about it’. Rather, He said, “I will, be thou
clean”. Praise God!
God has no pleasure in your sickness or
sufferings; it is your healing that brings Him
Glory. He wants you healed always.
Therefore, do not ‘suffer for God’ by
remaining sick. Christ already bore your
infirmities and sicknesses, so get up on your
feet and receive your healing now in Jesus’
Name!

There is an erroneous belief in some quarters
that those who devote quality time, money
or energy to the things of God do not make
swift progress in their academics, career or
business. This is not true!
* * *
Abraham was a friend of God, and yet he
was a prosperous man. Solomon was a
sold-out giver, yet the Bible records that He
was the richest king that ever lived. Daniel
demonstrated unwavering commitment to
God, and yet he became a political bigwig in
his days. These and many more examples
discredit the thinking that serving God would
make you go down. No, no way! Discipline is
required however to ensure that what is due
to God is given Him, and that what is due to
your academics, career or family is given
them as well.

Your commitment to God should not be the
excuse for not maintaining excellence and a
culture of all-round success. Therefore, give
due diligence to your business today, work
hard on your job or assignment, and use
your faith to compensate for whatever
deficiencies might remain. God is not your
problem. He is on your side.

CAN GOD TRUST YOU WITH MORE?

“And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.”- (Luke 19:17)

God has all power, glory, riches, wisdom, strength and any such thing that man may find desirable in this life (Rev. 5:12), yet we know that God does not really need them. The reason He has all these is so that He may give them to His sons who work according to His purpose on the earth.

God’s criterion for entrusting his people with more authority is clearly stated in our text today, which is faithfulness in the little things. It is not enough to pray for increase, there is the need to also prove yourself worthy before God to be trusted with increased finances, authority, etc by being faithful in what He has already committed into your care (Luke 12:42-43).

What new things do you desire from the Lord this month? Let your desire to see Him do new things in your life translate into a resolve to become faithful in all that He has committed into your hands. Step up your commitment to His house, your spouse and your job today. Those who prove faithful are those He would entrust with more.

THERE IS NO HARVEST FOR THE. SLUGGARD
Proverbs 20:4
“The sluggard will not plow by reason of the
cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and
have nothing.”

There are times and seasons in our lives
when we ought to sow. Even though we are
in the heart of the season of plenty, failure
to do the needful when it is due would only
lead to poverty even in the midst of plenty.
* * *
The sluggard as we see in our text today is
a man of excuses; he has programmed
himself to sow only when the weather is
favourable, forgetting that the soil would
only bring forth multiples of what is sown in
it. Therefore, when he ought to reap some
divine health, favour, abundant supply and
joy in the time of the harvest, the Bible says
he will be destitute of them and beg to no
avail. How sad!

Our seeds to God whether in the form of
finances, time, or service are to be
consistently sown all year round if we must
harvest His blessings all year round. To give
excuses why we cannot pray, give or be
available to physically serve the Lord
therefore is to forfeit our harvest of new
things. You must sow consistently to reap
consistently. A great harvest of new things
awaits you.

PUT OUT YOUR FAITH

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” - [Hebrews 11:6).

We are in the season of plenty and new things, but if you must receive what God is giving to you in this season, you must put out your faith. This means expressing your confidence in God irrespective of the situation, your feelings or other people’s opinion.

Until you put out your faith, God’s power would not flow in your direction. Remember the woman with the issue of blood who made up her mind to touch the helm of Jesus’ garment because she was confident that her healing would come thereby. Even though Jesus was not aware of her predicament and resolve, power still flowed out of Him to heal the woman who had put out her faith. Glory to God!

God’s power has been customized and automated to relate with you when you have confidence in it and step out in faith. Today, you must declare and act out your confidence in the Word of God in prayer, in constantly speaking and obeying the Word of God concerning every area of your life. This would ensure that God’s promises speedily come to pass. Halleluyah!

ATTAIN NEW DEPTHS IN GOD

“But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.”- (Proverbs 4:18)

Our text today explains what the will of God is for the righteous man; his life ought to shine brighter and brighter with every passing day. In other words, as the righteous man daily seeks and fellowship with God, he continually undergoes a transformation that sees Him become stronger, wiser and more prosperous. Glory to God!

God expects every believer to go deeper in their knowledge of Him, and this we can achieve by learning to seek Him correctly in fellowship. Moreover, beyond just spending time with God in a physical place, seeking God requires you to maintain constant awareness of the voice, Spirit and presence of God. It is a disposition of a true believer all day long.

The new experiences God promised you can only be securely delivered when you constantly seek the Lord. Obtain these new experiences by going deeper in His Word, in meditation, in worship as you devote more quality time to fellowship with Him. Be conscious of His love, presence, and will for your life throughout today and you would begin to experience new things in your life. Halleluyah!

“And no man putteth new wine into old
bottles: else the new wine doth burst the

put into new bottles. “

Man relates with and gathers facts from his
environment through his senses. These
facts, positive or negative, later sum up to
become the premise upon which his
judgment and decisions would be made.
However, when a man is in Christ, He must
learn how to submit his mind to be renewed
by God’s Word so that he can experience all
that God has promised.

At salvation, only a man’s spirit is born
again, not his flesh or his soul (mind). His
flesh remains as wild as ever and his mind
remain as it was before salvation. In the
place of fear, doubt and guilt, God would
rather you have faith, assurance and peace
with Him. These and many more are
obtainable from His Word and in fellowship
with His Spirit.

Salvation was worked into your spirit by God
but it is your responsibility to work it into
your soul by renewing your mind. Until you
begin to relate with God and the things of
God just the way God’s Word dictates, you
may not access and enjoy His power. So
meditate on the scriptures today and every

experience to be the template for your
