if you are smart, you should have known that with dirty environment and lack of personal hygiene, it tells the level of poverty of the citizens in the South West .....most times when pictures of South east are been posted, they are mostly things that are of government responsibility like the teaching hospital pix on this thread , neglected roads of Aba and market places.and at that you still see beautiful and modern private houses, neat,well fed and healthy people. hence it is 10% very rich, 40% upper middle class, 40% lower middle class and 10% poor

compared it to that the South West which shows you how the orinary man lives in the South West. For South West, it is 2% very rich,15 upper middle class, 15& lower middle class, the rest % is poor or extremely poor.
if you remove all the government infrastructure in the South West and compare the living standard of the people of South West to that of the south east then you will know the South West people are poor, no self help culture, always depending on government and not development oriented. That is why after lagos no other South West city is anything to write home about.
