i changed my initial comment due to what i read on washintonpost, i hope that is what they intend doing. The problem people have with big nations is just the general view that no matter what they do they are after their interest. I wish those countries affected severely by Ebola well.

They can't because Nigeria would not grant them access because of Nigeria's pride in the committee of African nations. Remember they've always wanted the head of their African command to be in Nigeria and this country has always refused it. Allowing US troops in Nigeria to fight Boko-Haram is a public declaration of Nigeria failure to tackle problem, and trust western media to add more bad coverage of the country.

It is not a "view", it is a fact!! Even the country themselves say so. And if I were the president of a country, I would never do anything which isn't in the interest of my country. In international relations and diplomacy, extreme as it may sound, selfishness comes before altruism! Infact, that is a fundamental principle in "patriotism" and diplomacy.

Anyone who thinks we need some foreign intervention, especially from the West, to rid the country of terrorists must be really naïve and poor student of history!
Iraq isn't faring any better then it was under Sadam.
Afghanistan isn't faring any better than it was under the Taliban.
Libya isn't faring any better than it was under Gadaffi.

The only record US has of a successful intervention, in recent history, was when they fought alongside the Mujahideen (not sure of my spelling) to expel Russia from Afghanistan (but mind you, that was strictly a war with another country and not against terrorism in which case rules of engagement are hardly observed).

Nigeria on its own has what it takes to crush the group. All we need is a strong government at the centre.

Nigerians let us be wise like we have always been, he is sending those soldier doctors to implant A MICRO CHIP RAY (MARK OF THE BEAST) in africa. So My Fellow Nigerians be wise.

It's so sad that an outside country have to take the initiative in providing relief to the affected countries.

If its to steal from the treasuries, they will all be ready to do that.
