I really pity the young boy on the shameful and criminal treatment meted to him by the egyptians air ticketing officials, crew members and largely their government representatives for not showing remorse at all like them ancestor pharaoh who was unperturbed by the cries of the hebrews. THE EGYPTIANS WE SEE TODAY, YOU SHALL SEE THEM NO MORE 3 Likes |

I've flown with Egypt Air before and was treated well but I won't accept any accept the action of tearing the passport of a fellow Nigerian. That is totally wrong. That Egyptian should be arrested no matter the country he is in. |

When you read the young man's experience which happened since 18th of last month, you will see that FG is just reactive. Where was Nigeria government when the poor boy was undergoing the near dead experience? When foreigners don't get a dam* about nigerian citizens and their passport, it is because our own government don't get a dam* about us http://www.kemifilani.com/2014/09/how-egypt-air-wrongly-flew-nigerian.html?m=1. 1 Like |

The best revenge is to confiscate the ambassador's passport, call a press conference and burn the passport for the world to see and ask the ambassador how he feels. But then, we are civilised. Egypt must pay for this maltreatment. 2 Likes |

etunoman76: Nigeria summoned the Egyptian ambassador Thursday to protest the maltreatment of a 17-year-old Nigerian by Egypt’s national carrier, Egypt Air. All this talk. Suspend the airline from operations in our territory pending further investigations. With issues like this, Nigeria needs to make a bold statement. If this goes under the carpet, I cannot imagine the effects it would have on other Nigerians who may fall into same situation in future. Mr. President!!!!!!!!!!! This is one of the times we need you. That boy could have been our James Foley! 1 Like |

abdulwastecx: Minister taking it up after 1 full month (I no laugh). If they can't be everywhere, let them close those embassies and save the "diesel money" they give them. Can you imagine your 17 year old son being treated like a criminal in faraway Russia and you can't get Nigerian embassy there to help. It was the boy's school that helped. Joshua's case wouldn't have been known if not for the media. We'll see how it goes, to know if FG now gives a dam* 2 Likes |

This is talk, the Nigeria Government should suspend Egypt air till they produce that passport since they are trying to claim it never happened and and Nigerian ambassadors should take the que from this Egyptian ambassador, see how his defending his countries interest,if it was a Nigerian ambassador you would have seen him defending Egypt instead of Nigeria |

Ours is a government that does more barking than biting--FIFA, NMA, etc. If not, what'll give the Egyptians the audacity to treat this issue with such disgusting levity. First it was the Egypt Air boss here in Naija, and now their ambassador. Suspend the airline for a while, take them to court, penalize them... and the next time they see a Nigerian, they'll bow like the Koreans do when they greet. |

Our government (politicians) lacks the basis understanding of humanity(love), they treat Nigerians as garbage because they don't have our interest at heart, why won't foreigners treat us like abandon pigs? Reading through the extract on the internet, ℓ̊ felt for the young man, our government have neglect us and is only God that can redeem us and He had redeem us.
