PDP Insists Tinubu Is Sick, Begs Lagosians To Pray For Him by 1United1: 1:13pm On Sep 19, 2014 |
The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Lagos State chapter on Thursday insisted that the national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is still ill and needs urgent prayers from Lagosisians. The party called on residents to pray for Tinubu’s quick recovery, even as it claimed he was jetted out of the country for treatment in a London hospital. The PDP asked Tinubu’s family and the Lagos State Government not to be secretive about the health condition of the former governor. In a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Taofik Gani, the party said Lagosians were interested in knowing the true state of health of the former governor “whose medical bill is being paid with their taxes.” He said, “We wish the former governor, Bola Tinubu, quick recovery as we are made to know from the grapevine that he is ill and in a hospital outside the country. We also feel that the family and the state government should have the obligation to let Lagosians know the actual state of his health. “It will not be a bad thing if the former governor appears on television or speaks on phone for broadcast. Indeed Lagosians are humanitarian and would readily support him in prayers. Such honest disclosure will also dispel rumours of his death or paralysis that is being spread around”. There had been doubts over Tinubu’s health status but the politician insisted that, “I’m as fit as a fiddle. There was nothing wrong with me before I left the country”. http://dailypost.ng/2014/09/19/pdp-insists-tinubu-is-sick-begs-lagosians-to-pray-for-him/?wt=2

Rilwayne001: These PDP really needs prayer oo Indeed. We can remember that this was how they insisted Aregbesola was "gravely ill" literally after the man was sworn in for his first term as Governor of osun 4 years ago. These acts of pettiness and mindless gossiping are signs the PDP does not host many genuine leaders in its rank. 7 Likes |

EUROBOMBER: Backward follower. It is Friday and I have been listening to sophisticated, informative and issue-based political discussion all day in regards to the Scottish referendum. Alas, once back to Nigerian politics, characters like you and the PDP gossipers quickly bring one back down to earth as per the frivolously backward ALUU-type character of Nigerian leaders and followers. Keep concentrating on Tinubu's health then rather than urge leaders to face weighty issues troubling Nigeria. Your Government is ferrying $10 million around, on a plane leased multiple times, like a criminal gang and some folks only want to gossip about the health of a private individual. Frustrating Country full of frustrating people. 6 Likes |

Gbawe2: Coming from a guy who spends all his energy and time defending confirmed thieves and criminals that have enslaved the entire SW and converted Lagos to their ATM machine for pocket money to buy groundnut & banana everyday. How shameful and pathetic! SMH. 7 Likes 1 Share |

EUROBOMBER: Pathetic hater. No one has enslaved the SW and the truth, whether vacuously hateful people like you want to admit it or not, is that the region is doing comparatively well under the leaders Tinubu helped to put in power. The real enslavers of the SW were the PDP administrators replaced by the current crop of performers Tinubu supported with his Party platform and political machinery. You guys never listen to common sense advice urging you to mind your own business. That is why you are always lying to yourselves and obsessing unhealthily about the SW and her people/leaders 24/7. Only god knows the sort of 'sickness' that makes someone in Enugu or Ebonyi more passionate about Tinubu than their own leaders. |
