Overflow means: To run over in abundance.

Many Christians live the average life, meaning that they only have the ability to meet up there basic needs.

Psalm 23
"1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."
"2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters."
"3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake."
"4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."
"5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over."
"6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."

The lord is my Shepard: Means you have somebody taking care of you.

If we have God as our Shepard, then it means we should transfer our worry to him.

Matthew 6:25-31
"25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
"26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?"
"27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
"28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:"
"29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these."
"30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?"

When someone is in want, the first thing is to take him to his original position. Many Christians tend to remain at this level

There is a point in ones life, that your blessings will be enjoyed in the presence of your enemies, So that your enemies will know that your prayers has been answered.

Why does God want us to overflow? Because he wants us to be a blessing all over the World.

What you think about yourself doesn't really matter, but what God's thoughts are for you

How can you be an overflowing vessel? Sticking to the word of God will guide us to our overflowing.

Sticking to the word of God means obedience to the word of God.

A decision to follow Jesus will lead you to your Overflow.
