We all have been observing the political trend in this country and we all see what is going on. We see rallies everyday and mass of people who follow politicians around.

The elite know better. They will never be fooled and rally any politician. No! you will never see them at such rallies. They watch from T.V. read form newspapers or read from the internet.

The Elite are simply in a class of their own. They don't care about government programs and activities because they've lost hope in politicians and their parties. They are waiting to see a good candidate emerge from one party first then they can scrutinize the candidate to see if he is worth their vote.

Of course, the elite wont vote anyhow. They think it through before they vote and in many cases where they see no candidate of the choice, they don't vote. You even hear some of them quote a lengthy year since they last vote.

That is where am going. Because these elite are hardly feeling the economic hardship like the ordinary man on the street, they care less about governance and who is governing. They have turned to social commentators on the governance and elections in their own country. They have become and ordinary keyboard warrior. They fight for their rights with their keyboard. They flood the internet with their articles and anger. But will that change anything?

While the these elite sit back and watch event unfold, the average, okada rider, pepper seller, mechanic and those people they command and oppress daily are actively taking part in politics because the feel the economic hardship more. Not necessarily contesting political posts but taking an active role in who leads us all.

As they come out en mass at rallies, is the same way the come out and vote. We all see them decide in Ekiti state. They decided who leads Ekiti for the next four years.

They say they want stomach infrastructure as against social infrastructure. Is it not common sense that social infrastructure is what will make the economy better and give us all the avenue where we can all prevail and succeed in our various endeavours?

But the these elite allow them decide! while you are criticizing and scrutinizing who you cast you valuable vote for. They have collected five hundred Naira or Garri or kerosine and voted for that same man you are rejecting and that man will win and rule over all of us.

The elite need to do something. Don't be too strict with your vote. A fool's vote will count as equal as your carefully cast vote. so far the fool is 18 years of age and above. Its your vote against theirs. else they decide who rules you.

All what we studied for. The rule of law we believed in. The social equality we preached for. The enabling society we craved for would be trashed if we allow non elites to decide for us all.

Lets do something! GO OUT AND VOTE!!! if you don't see a candidate of your choice, come together and sponsor one.

Don't allow those who didn't go to school mock you and rubbish all your years of education. its their vote against yours. Go out and cast it. leave the vote you have cast for the party and candidate to defend.

YOU ARE LOSING THE BATTLE AND WILL LOSE TOTALLY.

when will our elites do something about this nation? the thugs and drop outs are richer than the educated and they are finding their ways to power to political god-fathers. they are rubbishing anything that is common sense. i no time, all our years of education will be a waste.

wrong doings are more celebrated now in Nigeria than good deeds. in fact, you have to be careful to say or do what is right. else, you might be attacked.

do we want stomach infrastructure too or proper infrastructure?
