Mr.OP. ..You forgot to add the fact that after 3 years in school, all your fine-boyism start to fade, and you start looking like one of those Oshodi beggars!!... Unlike our foreign counterpart, they graduate looking even fresher than their first days in school... SMH in 4-D for Prof. Dibu (a.k a Dibulee)

There is nothing good about this forced marriage called Nigerian, from education sector to power sector in fact all the sectors of the economy.
Sometimes I ask God this simple question which he refuses to answer me " upon all the countries in Europe and America why did he creates me in Nigeria?
I weep for Nigeria.i
I wish God should've created you in Niger Republic here Haiti or Madagascar.

Back to the topic

Though what you wrote there are the core reasons why Nigeria universities can't attract foreign students.
Our leaders will never do something about it trust me, apart from oga Jonathan which among the politicians in this country that he or her children is schooling here absolutely none and u think they will do something about it. (make I hear)
But in unizik here we have few foreign students from Lebanese, china and some within the African countries. Unizik dey try naaaa.

Why would any sane foreigner see Nigeria as a valid place for education.
Only an id*iot would come to Nigeria to study or for business. Unless the person's objective is to learn how to be very corrupt.

5. The quality of our certificates even. You go with a BSc from uthman danfodio university and your credentials can't be verified with a simple email to the university admin. To even request transcript, you still have to write letters and all... Many issues please.
We still have a long way to go

Earlier today, someone asserted on Twitter that a first class from UNN is equal to a first class from Harvard. She got eaten up!
But I got my Certificate two days after my graduation. No matter Nigerian schools are not to right home about.

I think the biggest reason is that the professor's go on strike. I had never on my life heard of a university going on strike for months at a time.

Lol. Nigerian schools that a professor uses 1974 textbook. That cannot provide engineers to construct common highways for us and we need to alway have foreigners from China to do it for us. You need to school abroad to discover that our schools are part of the reason why thy country is centuries behind.

Complete hogwash.

EVERY Nigerian University website is as dysfunctional as the University. Obviously they hired someone they know and embezzled most of the money the resulting website is very amateurish.

Anyone that had the chance to school in a foreign university will tell you how you get exam results within a week of exam. You can print transcripts after many years and you can register and drop classes without dealing with buffoons in Nigerian Registrar offices.

na xo.. Nigerian educational system is poor.. how can a white man or student write jamb.

Most foreign students don't write JAMB to enter the University of Ilorin. I know of students from Pakistan, Ghana, other African countries in the University. thanks to Oloyede's tenure as VC.
But seriously, Nigerian students are smarter than the whites. Its a general corruption problem. Not just University issue.

even in the student faces, it tells that hardship, hungry and struggle for survival is in this country.
