Loosers on the loose in Ekiti.

The APC has consistently shown that it is a bad loser in every election. They threaten fire and brimstone before elections, they cry wolf and over militarization, and in the end when they lose, they still won't rest their inordinate, aggressive, abusive and undemocratic oars. When they lose, they attribute it to stomach infrastructure but that's not enough. People have forgotten so soon that Bola Tinubu threatened that "people would be roasted should APC lose in Ekiti" and he cynically termed it "Rig and Roast".

Don't be deceived by reporters who seat in Lagos and write a script about Ekiti. If you have friends in Ekiti, call them and ask questions as to what is actually happening in Ekiti. Fayose decided to be in the election tribunal where his victory is being contested by the APC. On his way to the tribunal, Ekiti people kept joining his Motorcade and he rode to court with an unending convoy of people. On getting to the court, over 10,000 people belonging to both the APC and the PDP have gathered but the PDP supporters were more in Number.
He was cheered by the crowd as he approached the court Premises and the crowd kept on the Pushing here and there.
The crowd was so much that the Police in the Court Premises were overwhelmed and could not stop them.

One of the Judges (known to be one of the Supporters of E11 currently challenging the eligibility of Fayose) approached Fayose to talk to his supporters and was raising voice to pass that across.
The crowd shouted that He (Fayose) should not be intimidated and they started chanting songs of victory for their governor-elect.
Another Judge on the panel tried to do the Crowd control himself and a supporter (I will define as overzealous) stretched to challenge the Judge. Security tried to stop that overzealous supporter and everything led to Fracas and the judge already in the crowd was caught in the fracas and was beaten. It is sad that a priest in the hallowed temple of justice would be molested and beaten in court. I wish and pray anyone who was involved in that silly act of impunity especially the "overzealous supporter" be brought to book to serve as a deterrence. Our judges should not be at the receiving end of "political rascality". But the Judges too cannot be absolve from collusion and complicity. Judges are supposed to be impartial and that is why the artemis of justice is blindfolded. The recent outburst by the CJN, Justice Aloma Mukhtar underscores the corruption in the Judiciary and Ekiti state Judiciary is no exception.

Ok. There was information (that Fayose was going to be Molested and all that) within the crowd outside sparked outrage and the rest is history. Fayose is someone that has "street credibility" and cannot show up and crowd won't follow. Then thereafter, the crowd was dispersed and everyone left for his abode. One of Fayose's die hard supporters, a popular driver and ex-NURTW chairman was on his way home, he was trailed and killed by the supporters of the APC in obedience to "Tinubu's advise" that people should be roasted in Ekiti. The killing sparked riot. Then the Press and some People are blaming President Goodluck Jonathan who is in Faraway Newyork at the UN-general assembly for what is happening in Ekiti. They blame Fayose. They absolve APC, Absolve Ekiti state Judiciary and absolve the incumbent governor Fayemi of APC who is still the chief security officer of Ekiti state.

Those who threatened to "roast" in Ekiti, those who threatened to form a "parallel government" should PDP win in Osun, those who threatened to make Nigeria "Ungovernable" should GEJ emerge as President of Nigeria, those who said the "baboons and the dogs will be soaked in blood", those who have tacitly, expressly, impliedly and sympathetically supported boko-haram are at it again. If APC wins there is peace (Osun state), But If PDP wins, there is violence (Ekiti state). All the state under emergency rule were under APC before Murtalla Nyako was impeached "according to law". Edo state is engulfed in house of assembly crisis and its under APC rulership. Nassarawa state is under APC and there has been problems there too. Why is APC so associated with violence? Why are they violence prone?

For me, the Governor Elect, Ayodele Fayose should close ranks with the Judiciary, the unscrupulous E11 should provide the court ruling that indicted Fayose during the Kangaroo impeachment (under Obj's regime) that made the NJC to suspend Justice Jide Aladejana who swore-in the Deputy governor then. Ekiti people should wait for Fayemi to serve out his term and the baton of leadership be passed on to their "choice governor" and the Judge acclaimed to have collected bribe on the Eligibility case be reported to the NJC for proper action by NJC. Self help should not be part of our democracy and the judiciary is the only arm of govt. that can see to that effectively.
The press and "brown envelope journalists" and the supporter of APC APC should leave Goodluck Jonathan out of this mess and report issues as they are with facts rather than sensationalising and politicizing matters bothering security of lives and property.
