courtship is not allowed in Islam. As tbaba rightly said: Boyfriend, girlfriend relationship is haram. |

Sissie: Yes, if it is within the context which Islam permits it's allowed. In the sense that, if most people go through the proper channel which Islam permits I.e Going to a female's parents first to seek her hand in marriage first, Thus, they'll give the go ahead if they approve of it, and they can get talking from there. In that regards, they will continue talking, till they are finally ready to settle down. But the way people do it these days, you have no option than to say it is not permitted. |
