Wow! Nice move but, why am I apprehensive?
Am I being selfish? From the depths of my heart I don't want this to sail through. Why not give them the money and allow them go to USA or Japan and do their training? We as a country are still too vulnerable to allow liberians and other ebola ravaged countries flood ours. Prof Chukwu, please put this your church mind in check and use you other mind mbok
As weird as this may sound it is actually good news. I know some of you would say stuff like "Have we even train our health workers?". If you know the critical condition the Liberia health sector is in now you would be happy for Nigeria. We should start acting like the "Regional power" we claim to be!

Regional power by donating cash abi?
Remember all we donated to SA only made them to be envying us and they constituted themselves to be enemies o.

Its the right thing to do but let us be vigilant to guard agains the Mali toureg bokoharam blowback syndrome. Thorough screening abeg and no diplomatic immunity. Corruption remains a strong ally of this virus in Nigeria.

Rikidony: What did we gain during ECOMOG RATHER THAN INSULT FROM THOSE COUNTRIES CITIZENS. FG SHOULD ALLOW THOSE COUNTRIES SOLVE THEIR ISSUES

This is really a first natural reaction but as our neighbours we need to help them irrespective of their immaturity and unappreciativeness. An only rich man among several poor men is still a poor man.

Word.

MATTHEW 24:42-44 Watch therefore, for you do not
know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this,
that if the master of the house had known what hour
the thief would come, he would have watched and not
allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also
be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you
do not expect.
If you will like to totally surrender your life to Jesus
Christ..... DELAYING IS COSTLY!!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WILL HAPPEN THE NEXT HOUR

I ve notin against dis move in as much as itz done wit caution. FG shud hweva place some restriction on movements accross our borders 2 avoid re-occurrence
Re: Ebola: FG To Train Health Workers From Liberia, Others by mastengsynergy: 8:41am On Sep 30, 2014
Let us give kudos to our honorable Minister. He really tried his best on Ebola. He fought hard and fight Ebola to a stop.
But I have always wandering that Nigeria is not yet free of Ebola if our neighboring countries are still suffering from the disease. This is a good step though, but we must be very careful with those coming for the training so that they don't bring Ebola inn from Liberia again. They should first be Quarantined and put under surveillance before the training begin.

We just like pretending in Nigeria, have we trained our medical laboratory scientists and laboratory epidemiologists before forming over sabi in training liberians and serialoneans.smh.Are we ready for another outbreak incase it occurs, if not for the efficiency of the lagos state government and first consultant hospital in checking the spread of ebola, I wonder what we would be sayin hy now. Big brother my foot!!!
Re: Ebola: FG To Train Health Workers From Liberia, Others by Nobody: 9:35am On Sep 30, 2014
Good move by the FG but requires optimum carefulness.....Let's help our African brothers

Nigeria leading Africa since 1960 cheesy cheesy

Heart of a man is really selfish and somewhat wicked, see how people are saying they shouldn't be brought into the country, calling them ebola infested etc.. But if the table were to be the other way round, maybe Liberia helping Nigeria, people will come out saying "that's the way to go , shows the kinda unity in Africa, if America can't help us we can help ourselves, we're one," etc.... SMH...May God help us...

I believe the FG has made adequate provisions before taking such move...
Re: Ebola: FG To Train Health Workers From Liberia, Others by Nobody: 9:39am On Sep 30, 2014
Helping them is a good move. If they are not rid of ebola, we can't sleep with both eyes closed since America seem to be more interested in recording ebolaa deaths.

However, we need to do this logically. First of all, it has been proven that Liberians can't be trusted when it comes to ebola. Sawyer's case comes to mind.

My take on this:

QUARANTINE EVERY PARTICIPANT for three weeks before they are allowed to mix with their Nigerian instructors.

Do not rely on non contact infrared thermometers to check their wellness--they may be carrying a strain of ebola that defies the regular rules.

House them in isolation, give lectures in the outskirt of the city.

Quarantine the Nigerian participants at the end of the show.

I wonder why they can't hold their lectures in a more developed country like US of A!

Better safe than sorry.

They are still reporting in their media that Nigeria is still ebola ravaged, especially those American christian organisations trying to raise money to buy supplies to send to West Africa.

It is all about 2015 that is why they are saying that we are currently clear.
Ebola never was in Nigeria in fact I do not believe even exists at all
It is a scam to use IMF and World Bank to exploit the resource-rich nations in West Africa

IMF Expands Lending for Ebola-Hit Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone

http://online.wsj.com/articles/imf-expands-lending-for-ebola-hit-guinea-liberia-and-sierra-leone...

3 days ago ... The IMF's executive board approved a $130 million expansion of zero-interest loans for the three West African nations worst hit by the Ebola ...

Who wants to bet that "Ebola" will re-emerge in 2015 to justify disruption or even cancellation of the elections probably at he same time the US has engineered an economic crisis (oil price crash) that they hope will combine with the political crisis (Boko Haram & cancelled elections) to set Nigeria on fire and allow them to actualise their plan to break up Nigeria into about 6 weak nations with puppet governments chosen by the US for each of the 6 nations. US then freely steal our resources faster.
