It is unfortunate that Comrade Chima Ubani, Executive Director of Civil Liberities organisation (CLO) lost his life in Maiduguri after the rally to protest the incessant hike in the prices of Petroleum Products at his prime age (43).

So many people has been writing condolence messages to the family, he was not appreciated and celebrated while he was still alive. It is a pity the man died in the struggle.

What would happen to the family he has left behind? How would they survive?

......this is as a result of the present conjuction we call government in our country today. I know that corruption has eaten into the very core of our being but I tell you as youths, we owe it to ourselves to change all of this. With the passing away of men like Chima Ubani, It has now dawn on us that the time is now.. It is now time to right all the wrongs that our fathers made.... It is time we make strong reslove to do away with ways that brought shame, distrust, confussion, choas and death to a land flowing with milk and honey... A word they say is enough for the wise,... When Solomon was made king, in order that he might rule right and just in the eyes of all, he asked the lord for wisdom.. With this gift, servants have been known to rule nations.

Make all man go pray and hold thight make he nor be say na our time nai this country go finaly scatter. ........

The high center of gravity of Sports Utility Vehicles greatly increases the risk of rollover type accidents, and late Chima Ubani was apparently riding in such a vehicle when the accident occurred. SUV's are favoured by many in Nigeria due to the bad roads in the country, but sadly they are becoming a common denominator in the untimely death of many who, in purchasing them, are weighing one risk against the other in a gamble for survival on moon-cratered roads.
