Yes!! I'm talking about Ugba Area of Logo LGA in Benue State, you can call or send a friend here to confirm my claims. They sell cheap very good yams @9k,14k and 17k for 100pcs and they have a very good transport system to the following state;

1.Ph(River state)
2. Lagos State( Mile-12)
3.Enugu
4.Bayelsa
5. Warri (Edo State)

My advice is before you place order for your 100yams make sure you have a ready market for it already and be ready to sell per 1 cos that's where your profit is oooo. How do I do this? Get someone into food stuff sales ask if she can sell for you per 1 in her store and you give her something after she finish selling the 100pcs

Sir let me explain;
A full loaded truck has 6courches(or truck space) each
spaces do occupy like 1500-1800tubers of yams meaning a
full truck will hav 1500*6 number of yams on board.
Now a courch or space is always being charged like 30,000
to 35,000naira or more than depending on the driver, so
with this the price of one single yams for transportation is
being calculated. So if yours is 200tubers in a courch u get
ur transport charge by mutiplying the the amount gotten
for transportation of one yam with your number of yams.
After this you then pay uploading fee into the truck from
benue and then offloading fee when it gets to your
destination like 600 to 1000naira each so all these leads to
the 4k ooooo
So most times the size of your yams is not really a
determining factors
That 4k is just the maximum transport price for every
100tubers.

Post-harvest management
Apply the same treatment as before planting (described
above).
After drying, transfer tubers to yam barns. Place each bag
on the shelves (avoid compact storage) for 4 to 6 weeks.
Transfer bags to yam store (temperature = 18–20°C, i.e. in
a dry cool area) for conservation for 3 to 4 months.
During storage, check yam germplasm weekly (look for
rotting, insect and rodent damage etc.).
Monitor sprouts until follow-on dormancy break.

Hello everyone in this agric produce platform.... I'm really
loving this because after studying the rate @ which
farmers produce(yam tubers,groundnut and yam flour)
are patronised by buyers from all part of Nigeria e.g
Enugu, Ph, Lagos, Bayelsa, Anambra who travelled to
Benue State just to mention a few, I came to a conclusion
that both parties went home with smiles that is the
farmers made good sales while the buyers bought great
and "eye attractive" yam tubers.
Just yesterday I was discussing with one of the Benue
villager and he said its not possible for buyers to
overwhelm the market but next week yam tubers and
other produce will storm the market, that the buyers too
will saw Wooooooow!!! But I told him the exposition
people have gotten will make yams not to even be enough.
Guess what he said...... He said its not possible that come
next tuesday/wednesday the market will be flooded with
great and mighty yams.
So Hellooooo Nigeria!! Let's flow in and take advantage of
this products and if you are buying lesser quantity like
500tubers and below please call my line (Corper
