The 2015 General elections might end up being one of the closest ones considering the final result from the broad based poll conducted by Build up Nigeria for the better part of last week .

The Poll which ended on sunday night asked Nigerians which candidate they will vote for if elections where to be conducted today.

The choice was between President Goodluck Jonathan and General Mohamadu Buhari the out come was as follows

13,111 said they will re-elect the president for a second term representing 49.3 %, while 12875 respondents representing 48 .41% opted for the retired General .

However , 609 respondents representing 2.09 % which is greater than the difference between the two candidates were undecided on whom to vote for. (See screen shot Below )

These particular poll showed how deeply divided Nigerians are , and in the end choice of running mate or the commissioning of key infrastructural projects that significantly impacts the lives of Nigerians might finally decide where the pendulum will eventually swing!

God Bless Nigeria

especially in developing countries.
Though APC will always win in the online polls as postulated by barcanista egift cramjones and olapluto who is voting from ice land but when it comes to real polls i will give that to PDP.

People should be wary of those winning online polls especially on Nairaland and Sahara Reporters. In 2011, Buhari won the election by landslide but lost the real elections by landslide. Many online voters are Nigerian diasporans and will not be voting. Others are the smug middle class who prefer to insult and abuse their leaders online but take the election day as an extra work free day from office. Few, very few online voters even come out of their houses in 2011.

See the link below, that was in 2011. Buhari won the election massively on NL, many online voters were resident in Lagos and other parts of the SW. You see very few voters from far North, but the irony was that Buhari lost aggressively in the SW after the impression of outright victory expected. See the 2011 thread below, remember that BB was Buhari's online reference in 2011, I guess it is GMB today:
