politics and oil production are the only two industries in Nigeria. The entertainment industry people are just eating out of their hands: nollywood, comedy and music. So power and oil are the two major goods in Nigeria. Oil requires huge capital investment, so a person will need a lot of money or power.
Power however is achieved with social acceptance more than money. With power a person will simply need a party and a good lawyer and must constitute a stable factor in society for social acceptance.
Don't think that your small business will propell you to the top, you're wasting your time.

There is different between bench warmers and active members in a parliament. The fact that some of the senators mentioned in your post have not sponsor any bill dose not amount to bench warming. You can not referee to a senator like prof Sola Adeyeye as a bench warmer,he has consistently contributed intelligently to debate on the floor of the senate. Likewise some other senators you mention in your post.

That man is the most inactive senator this country has ever produce, but trust me he will still be re-elected because he is an in-law the chief Tony Aneni.
