I keep saying it. we need to put Chris Giwa in jail. The man is just hell bent on becoming NFF president even at the expense if Nigeria as a whole. Fifa has repeatedly said it does not and will not recognize him as NFF president yet he doesn't want to hear. I think hr is a jobless fellow. The security operatives should pick him up and lock him up for 3days. By the time they deal with him in the cell he might learn a lesson.

Agreed. Remember GEJ wanted to do this and people started shouting because, of course, we can't let the world see our dirty laundry, as we pretend to be a "great" country. Let the madness end. I say ban for 2 years

Nigeria as a country needs to be banned

robosky02:
hear what hayatou CAF president said:

“I had to plead passionately with FIFA President, Mr. Sepp Blatter not to take action on Nigeria on Friday, because Nigeria was in the final of the African Women Championship and a ban on your country would have been bad for the competition and our sponsors. We all heard the news of the court ruling on Thursday, and the football world is angry with Nigeria. That is the truth.

“The FIFA letter that came to your Federation before the elections of September 30 was very clear about an automatic suspension should there be any interference with the political process, and after the elections went ahead, we all thought you had settled your issues.”

“I appealed to FIFA to give until Monday for Nigeria to put its act together. After that, there is absolutely nothing I can do. It is all very disappointing because we have over 50 National Associations in Africa, but a big country like Nigeria is the one always giving us the biggest headache.

“Nigeria signed to be part of the football world by joining FIFA, and opted to abide by the FIFA –approved Statutes that you have. How many times do we have to tell your country that football matters are not taken to civil courts? If Nigeria no longer wants to be part of the football world, then so be it.''

Issa Hayattou needs to Shut-The-Phuck-Up! (Pardon my foul language).
There is a lot of 'Politics" being played here ... and l will try to summarise it as much as possible though its a long story.

1.) Every person has the right to go to court if aggrieved! Chris Giwa went to court, he did not attack or main Pinnick (current NFF chair)
2.) Courts are independent (or supposed to be) and judgements from courts are to be respected, as a sign of democracy! Imagine if a U.S Court gives a verdict and FIFA or CAF is trying to pressure/blackmail the petitioner into withdrawing it?
3.) Except FIFA/CAF is saying that our judicial system is a disgrace and its verdict is not worth respecting, then a court decision is a court decision; Period!
If you dont agree with it, you simply follow due process by APPEALING it to a higher Court.
You can also seek an injuction to "preserve the status-quo" until the Appeal is decided. => Pinnick continues in office till then.

1.) NFF is ridduled with CORRUPTION and that is what is killing our football.
Both Chris Giwa and Pinnick are the same band of looters. FIFA knows this and CAF knows it as well as everyone in the NFF.

Question is: Why does FIFA/CAF prefer one thief over another (Pinnick over Giwa)?

Now, this is where it begins to get interesting:

2.) Notice that each time we try to get rid of a very corrupt NFF President/Chairman, FIFA ALWAYS THREATEN US WITH A BAN? undecided undecided
You begin to wonder: Why does FIFA not want us to get rid of all these corrupt men in our football association? Why does it threaten us instead of being happy that we are trying to clean-up the Glass house?

3.)Before l answer that question (l guess you also know the answer anyway!), let me bring up a similar issue:
The hosting rights of the 2022 (l think) World Cup was awarded to Quatar in a process many "Country-Associations" say was tainted will serious bribery and corruption. Quatar, through its Football chairman was alleged to have offered a lot of money to sway the bid and there are "recordings' of money exchanging hands between the CONCACAF President (South America), including CAF (this same issa Hayattou! talking shyte here was also bribed!).

4.)After resisting for a long time. Fifa Ethics committee was asked to INVESTIGATE the Bribery allegations. It has FINISHED the investigation but like the T.B Joshua Church collapse, FIFA President Sepp Blatter has said the RESULT WILL NOT BE RELEASED!
shocked shocked

Oh, you are asking WHY? Google the story please, and make up your own mind! wink

5.) Thus, l can honestly tell you that Sepp Blatter and his FIFA is the epitome of corruption and wait a bit!
If l go back to the question l asked earlier: Why does FIFA prefer one "Thief" over another Thief? Not all thieves can be trusted!

6.) Football is a very important sport, it is almost like a religion now!
A world-wide religion and the "head of that religion" (Sepp Blatter) has become a very powerful person! You can see that Nigerians are already shivering at the thought of FIFA banning Nigeria! grin grin

7.) Like all Religions, there is a "Powerful Cult" of inner-caucus members who control and decide what happens.
The current Religion (Football) has an inner-caucus cult of most "Continental Chairmen" (Issa Hyattou for CAF, cant remember the name for other continents, but Mitchel Platini is for Europe as well).
These are the men, the powerful men that run the "Religion" of Football, a religion that boasts at least three quarters of the WORLD's POPULATION! Just imagine the membership, during a World Cup Tournament.

FIFA and Sepp Blatter!
1.) To continue in office, Blatter needs the support of the Continental Chairmen like Hayattou!
But if you notice, FIFA is the only international organisation that seems to have "Life President"! If Ghadafi was killed for trying to be a life-president, how come Sepp Blatter is being re-elected over and over again?
The last man before him, Jao Havallange died in office! Whats the matter with FIFA and Blatter? Is he trying to "die in office" as well

2.) Look at Issa Hayattou too, he has being CAF chairman since when? Maybe before l was born! grin
Are we saying he is the "best and ONLY person" that can run Football in the whole of Africa, that he must die in office as "Life Chairman"?

3.) Thing is, like a CULT, these "Chairmen" PROTECT THEMSELVES IN OFFICE! This is why FIFA will tell you "If you remove a Chairman caught stealing Players welfare Money (like in Nigeria), You will get banned ..... but no country wants to be banned!

4.) In turn for this "unalloyed Support from above ", the Country Chairmen (from each nation in a continent like Africa), also give their "unalloyed support" to the Continental Chairman (like Issa Hayatou!). Thus, no one should be surprised at What Issa Hayatou is saying up there! He is acting out the script!
You will notice that they are not even talking about the "merit' of the court case.
All they know is that you cant take "chairman" to court.

Recall some years back when Nigeria's President dissolved the NFF and sacked its NFF chairman due to serious corruption and failure in all areas, FIFA quickly came to the "rescue" and threatened to ban us (blackmail) until even President Jonathan was humbled to eat his words! he reversed himself sharp-sharp!
Such is the power of this "religion" (football) and its inner-caucus cult members like Hayatou and Blatter, ....on a country's authority to clean its own house!

5.) But the whole charade has only one purpose: TO PERPETUATE SEPP BLATTER HIMSELF IN OFFICE, FOR LIFE!
Its a "scratch-my-back, l scratch-your-back" racket. .... and it works very well.
It plays on the citizens emotions to want to watch and participate in football!

FIFA protects the Association Chairmen, who protect their Continental Chairmen, who in-turn protect FIFA President so he can "sit tight" over the whole corruption, for the rest of his life!!

But only "trusted" accomplices can be allowed to lead the National Associations!
FIFA does not want one erratic/unknown person to pour sand on the well-arraigned corruption structure... .. and dont forget, "things" have to be done DISCREETLY as well

6.) Chris Giwa is no different from Pinnick, they both dont have the interest of Nigerian football at heart. they are both after the enormous money that is being stolen from the Glass house. They are both "members" of the sleaze and they have been into it for a long time. Its like an "inverted tree" structure or a Triangle, ...with Sepp Blatter himself sitting at the top!
FOOTBALL IS NOW A VERY WELL ORGANIZED RACKET OF CORRUPTION.

Someone needs to call the bluff of FIFA! (but l know Nigerians would never hear of this! We love football like we love our religions!) cry cry angry
Like FIFA itself, our Football association is so corrupt that nothing good can come out of it.
Some players have been known to "speak out" (when their allowance get stolen, Cameroon players refuse to board a plane to World Cup for the same reason! grin ) but the get bullied and punished into silence.

The Sports arbitration panel set-up by FIFA is also made up of the same "corrupt cult members".
Giwa is desperate to be in the saddle so he can steal his own bigger share, Pinnick does nto want to live th eplace because he knows what amount of money he stands to make!

Yet, Nigeria's football is suffering! The current band of thieves are not concerned about that except what to steal.
The last Good Football Administrator Nigeria had was Anthony Ikhabozoh (one military guy like that). Then, we could fire and hire an NFF chairman, based on his performance but now, they know they have corrupt FIFA to protect them and dont give a damn about "performance" or whether they are caught stealing!

Either way, Nigeria and football is the looser!

Sepp Blatter and his "cult members" are the winner since Football generates a lot of revenue (no one can even question FIFA on how it spends the money!) and has a world-wide following, the stakes are very high, just as it is in Nigeria's case.

Stop pitching your tent with Giwa or Pinnacle ..... its no different from those who fight over which party is btter to chose: "APC or PDP"?
Its two sides of the same coin, ..six or half-dozen!

Let FIFA ban us but let Govt use the opportunity to "clean-out" the Football federation.
There must be life-ban and legal prosecution of those thieves in the Glass house.

But wait, FIFA will have non of that. It will not even publish its own Corruption scandal report!
Why conduct the investigation if not just to distract people away that "you are doing something aoiut it"/

dont get it wrong

1 . Maigari was removed ……..this according to FIFA is govt. interference, that he should be reinstated.
2. Maigari as the duelly recognized NFF chairman must supervise the election of a new NFF chairman
3. any perceived grievance must be taken to the court of arbitration for sports CAS. And not the ordinary law court

Based on the foregoing Maigary who was initially removed was reinstated as NFF president who organized the NFF election according to FIFA laws which produced

AMAJU PINNICK as the new NFF chairman.
FIFA president have also sent a congratulation massage to Pinnick as the NFF chairman.

However before this One Chris Giwa and co has done a kangaroo election where he won without the supervision of Maigari. Note FIFA is not against any candidate but the election must be supervised by the outgoing NFF president according to FIFA so if maigari did not supervise Giwa election he is not recognized.

But he is insisting he won am must be in office. Ok if you won
1. Did FIFA acknowledged you?
2. Did maigari supervise you as the outgoing NFF president
3. FIFA is plain in its rule in any grievances don’t go to normal court , go to court of arbitration for sports (CAS.)
If you don’t abide by the rule you will be banned.

My take on the whole issue is if he is desperate to serve Nigeria why not join AMAJU PINNICK who has been recognized by FIFA to move Nigeria forward. Instead of breaking the whole calmness
