The IG of police should also be dragged to court to explain where he derived the power to interpret the law on behalf of the court from. We must follow the rule of law irrespective of whether it favours our political party/political aspirations or not.
This suit goes to show that the speaker is a democrat who is ready to abide by the law. Another person could have resort to self help or employ the same bole ka ja(get down and let's fight) tactics of the presidency which can lead to serious overheating of the polity.
