The Nigeria Police has come out to defend the withdrawal of security aides attached to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal stating that it was done in accordance to the laws of Nigeria. While the police was justifying its action, indications emerged that a split has been created between Speaker of the House of Representatives Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, and his Deputy Speaker Emeka Ihedioha. as lawmakers loyal to the former suspects the latter and are plotting to unseat him.
